Story
Meet Buster!    Buster is a short-haired kitty who has more brown in her coat with white on her body. She is about 7 years old. Buster was surrendered back in July 2022.  She has been here for over a year. She has made tremendous progress though and is showing lots of improvement. She will hide if you startle her or she doesn’t know you. She will stay out in the open in a quiet environment. She does love her wet food and treats. She loves to be petted as well. She loves to stick her tongue out and can often be found like that. She’s doing so well and is ready to find a new family to give her lots of love. Please be patient if you come in to meet her and she doesn’t initially show interest in you or even stay out. Please come in on a Tuesday or Saturday if you’re interested in adopting her.  She will warm up and has lots of love to offer you. Call us or stop by today to say hi!  Adoption prices: Kittens 0-4 months - $80 5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Abigail!   Abigail is a short-haired tuxedo. She is about 1 year old. She has a goofy, unique personality.  She has come out of her shell and is playful and relaxed in the room. She likes to be held and seeks out attention when she wants it. She loves to flop and roll around. She’s cat-selective and doesn’t seem to bond with anyone in the room. She prefers easygoing older cats who leave her alone. She doesn’t mind them or show any aggression but chooses to do her own thing. She is a good balance between affectionate and independent if you aren’t looking for a clingy cat. We are unsure about dogs or kids. She doesn’t always like loud noises or chaos but this could change in the right environment. It’s recommended you bring in any kids (younger especially) to check how she does. She sometimes will hide from them and climb up out of reach. She’s ready to find a new home with her forever family. Stop by and meet her today!  Adoption prices: Kittens 0-4 months - $80 5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Buddy!   Buddy is a short-haired tabby w/ white. He is about 3 years old. He was adopted and recently returned due to no fault of his own. He’s a big boy who is adjusting to being back in the shelter. He’s a sweet guy who seems to be a little shy when you first meet him. He loves to give everybody the biggest head bumps. He is very cat-friendly. We were told he’s bonded to Missy and his previous adopter recommends they be adopted together. You don’t see them together much in the room but it’s hard to say how they would do in a home setting. He’s got a laid-back personality once he adjusts to his environment. It seems like he could be quite needy in a home environment and could become quite cuddly. He is dog and kid-friendly (per his previous adopter) but we are unsure of the ages he does well with. Please bring in your kids before adoption to make sure he does well with them. He’s ready to find his perfect home. Please stop in and meet him today!  Adoption prices: Kittens 0-4 months - $80 5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Sadie aka Sassy!    Sadie aka Sassy is a short-haired calico tabby. She has orange on her paws. She is approximately 1 year old. She is so chatty and always has lots to say. She loves giving hugs and will climb up into your arms. She is quite independent and seeks out attention on her terms. She will occasionally bap (gently swat with no claws)  people and other cats when she wants to. She does best with other confident, more assertive cats or easygoing cats. She will occasionally bully very submissive kitties. She was adopted back in November of 2023 and was returned at the end of February 2024 due to her adopter’s allergies. She renamed her Sassy and it’s an accurate change. She has a big personality that will keep you constantly entertained. She loves toys and needs lots of mental stimulation to keep her out of trouble. We are unsure about how she would do around dogs but would likely be okay if introduced properly. It depends on the age and energy levels of your kid(s) but she doesn’t love younger, more chaotic kids generally. She absolutely adores being petted and is extremely social, making her a perfect fit for any family looking to welcome a loving feline companion. Personality: Annie is the life of the party! She thrives on human interaction and will happily engage with everyone she meets. Whether you’re looking for a lap cat or a playful companion, Annie is ready to bring joy to your home. Her affectionate nature means she’ll be a great addition to families of all shapes and sizes. Coat Care: When Annie first came to us, her long fur was quite matted, and she needed a shave to get back to her beautiful self. While she’s now well-groomed, she will need some help maintaining her luxurious coat. Regular brushing will keep her fur looking fabulous and help prevent mats in the future. Ideal Home: Annie would thrive in a lively household where she can be the center of attention. She would likely enjoy the company of kids and other pets. If you’re looking for a furry friend to join in on family activities, Annie is your girl!
