Story
Found under a friends home, they tried to find owner. After failed attempts, it was assumed this sweet kitten was abandoned. Took him in hopes he would be able to keep my daughter’s cat company. He lives to play and the high energy only has stressed the cat to much. He’s very sociable, lives to love and be cuddled. He will definitely talk to you and tell you all about his day when you get home. My daughter has only had him about a month and is a travel tech. So I’ve been taking care of him. Unfortunately with her schedule and her other cat being so stressed, she felt it might better to find him a forever home where he will get live as much as he gives love. We think he is about 5-6 months at this point. He’s not fixed and unsure if he’s been vaccinated at all. We don’t expect money for him, but just want him to have his forever home. Are you his person? Let us know and we can set up a greet and meet!

Story
Maverick is our very special sweet boy who deserves all the love in the world!  He's very laid back and will sit with you for hours watching movies and wants to be near you.   Maverick is a speicial needs boy with severe CH (also known as wobbly cat syndrome).   Here is a link where you can find more info on CH:  https://www.thenoahcenter.org/2022/09/28/the-truth-about-ch-cats/ Maverick is about 4 years old and along with having CH, he is missing several teeth and has a front "snaggle tooth"- but is healthy!     He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and has had base line bloodwork upon joining the rescue all of which was completely normal.     He does have  tremors that are common with CH and also a pretty severe head bobble - so drinking water is difficult and he eats wet food and sometimes dry kibble mixed in water in raised bowl.     He was raised by a family who loved him very much but just didn't have the time to continue caring for him.   He uses a litter box but because of his severity and wobbles, he needs help getting in and out and will lay down to do his stuff.    He is on a schedule though and will go in the litter box when you put him in the box on a schedule.    Maverick has lived with big dogs and other cats in his foster home, but he mostly loves just being with his person.   If you have had a CH cat previously, then. you know how much love they provide and what a joy they are to care for.    With Maverick's severity level, he does need someone who has experience with CH and is aware of what they require.  If you are interested in Maverick, please provide a few sentences on why you want to adopt Maverick and how you are prepared for him.   ##2000741##

Story
We are desperate to find a home for Gracie. My brother who was 70 and living in a retirement home, died suddenly 2 weeks ago and left his beloved cat behind. I have temporarily taken her in, but do not have the capacity to keep her for more than a few weeks. I am extremely worried about her because we cannot care for her after June 10 when we are moving out of the country. Gracie is friendly but traumatized by the death of my brother, and all the changes that this has entailed. They were extremely attached to each other. She was friendly to care staff, but not to strangers. I tried to find a new owner at the retirement home, but no one can adopt her. She has always been an indoor cat . Gracie appears to be about 11 years old. I was able to acquire the veterinary records for her. She has not been seen by a vet for several years and does not appear to be current on her shots. She is chipped and has been spayed. Gracie needs a peaceful loving home and she will give out love.

Story
Meet Einstein A Special Soul in Need of a Safe, Patient home. He is a sweet, anxious cat with special needs. He uses the litter box to poop but not to pee, which has made it hard to keep him indoors full-time. He’s currently staying in a safe patio/shed space and enjoys being outside. He has some special needs: skin issues from overgrooming, broken teeth from panic reactions, and likely requires dental care I haven’t been able to afford. He does best with calm, quiet environments and would likely thrive as the only pet, with safe outdoor access. He’s not aggressive but gets overwhelmed easily and needs someone experienced with sensitive cats. Rehoming him is heartbreaking, but I want what’s best for him. If you think you could offer Einstein a low-stress home and the care he needs, please reach out.
