Story
Hi, my name is Kitty! I’m available for adoption! I am currently in foster care, so if I sound like a good fit and you would like to meet me, please submit an adoption application to catterystaff@green-hill.org or in person at Greenhill Humane Society. Once Cattery staff has reviewed your application they will contact you to discuss next steps for arranging a meet and greet. Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. Do you like other cats? Not much is known about my past history with cats. I may do well with another cat after a slow introduction. What do you think about living with a dog? In the past I have had a negative experience with a dog. It`s possible that I will do well with a cat savvy dog, but I may prefer to go to a home without dogs. How do you feel about kids? My history with children is unknown, but my friends in the Cattery think I would do best in a home with older, cat savvy children, teens, or adults only. What was your previous home like? I was found as a stray and then lived indoors as the only pet in the home for less than a year. What’s your ideal home like? A calm and quiet home who will give me plenty of time to adjust to my new surroundings and will be understanding that I am relatively independent and prefer interactions be done on my terms. Is there anything else we should know about you? I am adorable and sweet once I trust you. I would be an excellent addition to someone`s home who is looking for the company of a cat in their home, but not a constant companion.

I may do well with an older, very calm, cat-savvy dog after a slow introduction period. How do you feel about kids? I would probably do best with teens and adults who can respect my space. I am a very calm girl who can be shy at first and kids may be too much for me.What was your previous home like? I was the only pet in the home, but was occasionally visited by a dog. I had access to the outdoors. What’s your ideal home like? A calm home where I can have a cat tree to look out the window. In my last home I took awhile to feel comfortable.
