Story
Beautiful FERB and PHINEAS are a wonderful pair of young brothers. Fashionable FERB is a black and white tuxedo with an adorable face. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he will roll over for belly rubs and he'll push his sweet face into your hands for head rubs. PHINEAS is a stunning, sleek black panther who will quickly let you know what a party boy he really is! He loves to follow his foster mom around the house, squeaking for attention and treats!  These boys love to catch stringy toys, climb on the cat tree, and romp around the house with each other—then when they’re worn out, they cuddle up together at nap time.  They have been living in a loving foster home with other cats and friendly dogs.  These sweet boys have fun personalities, and would prefer a calm home where they can relax and enjoy their forever people. Ferb and Phineas have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Ferb and Phineas in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $260 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
[PLEASE NOTE Cats in these pictures, may or may not be available for adoptions] Cat Rescue & Adoption Network foster families give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. We always need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955 Option 4, or fill out a foster application at: www.CatRescues.org/forms/cat-foster-applicationNovember 5, 2024, 2:34 pm

Story
LIONEL (R) and SARGE (L) are a pair of bonded brown tabby male kitties that make the cutest odd couple; Lionel is an energetic little teenager who loves to run around and chase toys and strings, and Sarge is his sweet “big brother” who loves to hang out and cuddle with Lionel. They are both highly social, loving, and outgoing, and are so much fun to have around.  Lionel is bouncy, funny, and entertaining, and Sarge is a bundle of love and affection – a gentle giant who likes everyone he meets (other cats, dogs, and people). Sarge is currently on a weight reduction program to slim down, and he’s already seeing progress! He is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day, but it's very easy to care for a diabetic cat, and Sarge’s foster mom will help guide his new family on his medical care. [There’s always a chance that Sarge’s diabetes will improve as he loses weight.]  These two boys will bring tremendous joy to their new forever home! Both cats are good with dogs and gentle kids, but while Sarge is fine with other cats, Lionel can be aggressive with cats that aren’t as energetic as he is – so this bonded pair will do best as the only cats in the household. LIONEL and SARGE have both been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet them in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee for the pair is $185, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
YIN (female) and YANG (male) are a bonded pair of adorable black and white tuxedo young adult kitties with the cutest pink noses. Yin is a friendly and cuddly kitty who loves to play, especially with a feather wand, balls, or tumbling around with Yang.  She will quickly accompany you on the couch or the bed for pets and snuggles. She is quick to open up to people, and is fiercely protective of her brother. Yang is a sweet but more timid kitty who loves to chase his sister around the house and is very dependent on her. He is the first to remind you that it’s mealtime! Yang loves to lay on top of his sister and then they groom each other. YANG has sebaceous gland dysplasia which means his body doesn't make enough of the oils to coat his fur and skin. As a result, his hair is thin and discolored, particularly on his feet and around his nose and mouth. This doesn’t affect his health or personality at all—his condition is stable, and does not require any ongoing care.  His imperfect looks are very endearing. Yin and Yang are the cutest couple with the most precious bond. They will warm your heart and make you laugh They have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet YIN and YANG in foster care, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you in 3 to 5 days for a possible meet-and-greet. The $225 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
BEAU and MAMACITA are a marvelous mother and son bonded pair of kitties looking for a loving home.  Mamacita has a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings, while Beau is white with orange tabby spots (a cow kitty).  They are fond of Churu treats and adore a front row seat for Cat TV (aka, a window to look out of).  Beau also loves little toys that he can throw around and chase.  Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue with a litter of kittens, and with Beau, her oldest baby from a previous litter.  All her other kittens have found homes, and now it’s this pair's turn to find a devoted home to enjoy some rest and relaxation.  Mamacita and Beau are both still shy and need an adopter who is willing to create a quiet and safe space for them to acclimate to their new home and get their bearings.  Both are very sweet, and it will be so worthwhile to give them some time to adjust to their surroundings.  They will reward you in spades with their sweet faces and affection! Mamacita and Beau have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Mamacita and Beau in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. Story
** SPECIAL NEEDS CAT ** Evie is a tiny tortoiseshell young adult female cat.  She is as friendly as can be!  She was brought to CRAN as a bottle baby, and has been living ever since in a loving foster home.  She loves water and will sit by the sink waiting for it to be turned on so she can drink and play with the water.  She is super loving with other cats, dogs, and people.  She is fearless and warms up quickly.  Due to her petite size, she will always remain looking like a kitten. ** Evie is a special needs cat as she has an oversized colon and doesn’t have full control of her bowels.  There is clean up required with her care since she doesn’t always make it to the litter box (although she always pees in her box).  This doesn’t affect her sweet personality at all--Evie is a very loving girl who is ready for her forever home.  Are you that caring someone ready to give her a chance? Evie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Evie in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
