Story
I adopted Joe and his brother Moe when they were 6 months old in Portland, Oregon and they're both now 6 years old. They get along well with each other and get along fine with kids and other cats. Moe likes to follow me around and stay close when he's not exploring the outside world. Joe also likes to stay close to me and occasionally play with his brother, but also enjoys the occasional trip outdoors. They've had to have their teeth extracted due to their bodies attacking their teeth, but are doing great now after words. Both cats love to eat food and have no problems eating wet or dry food. No other existing known medical problems or issues and are all up to date on all vaccines. They are very sweet, loving cats who enjoy cuddling with me at night and love getting attention from those they are comfortable with, although they can be skittish when someone rings/knocks on the door and can be very timid. Hoping both cats will be adopted together.

Story
Mitzi is a 10 year-old beautiful sweet cat. She’s very independent however she loves cuddling and sleeping and purring with you. She’s very quiet and loving. She likes watching TV and just laying on your chest purring. Her last vet visit she received straight A’s. We are moving to Hawaii and the cost to take a cat is very expensive She will adapt to a new home very quickly. She does better with receiving all of the attention however she can share love if it’s necessary with another pet. There’s really nothing negative to say about Mitzi. She’s totally litter box trained. And she uses an auto feeder and auto water fountain

Story
This young cat showed up hungry and scared 6 months ago. I unfortunately cannot financially or mentally care for her long-term. I had always hoped to find her a good home and am doing my best to attend to her immediate needs currently. Adeline is a young female who loves face rubs, sun beam naps, and wet food treats. Prefers to lounge inside and go potty outside. She will try to hold your hand is she wants attention. She had a temporary cat friend who lived here too and they got along well but she is thriving alone too.   Mostly indoors. Rehoming fee is $75   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2025, 7:46 pm

Story
Hello, I'm Sophie, I'm outgoing and friendly with adults. I have yet to experience children or dogs except one (more on the dog later). I am independent, like any respectable cat, active, and LOVE a good nap especially in the sun. I enjoy being near my humans without being a lap junkie but I will sit with you for chin rubs (oh yeah). I am affectionate, intelligent and clicker-trained to come for snacks. I'm quiet as a rule, and I have a sweet chirp when happy and/or curious.   I'm an indoor cat but love time in the catio outside. When inside I spend much of my time watching birds, squirrels and the neighbor cats from my window perches. I love my tunnel and think it is great fun to run in and out of it making everyone laugh, which makes me want to do it more!   Before I was in my current home, I started out in a home with a cattle dog! As you can imagine, I was so glad to move on, he was definitely the opposite of a cat whisperer! I tell you no lie, he would have eaten me for lunch without hesitation. My current person really hoped her older resident cat would accept me but evidently said resident cat (we'll mention no names) made it perfectly clear that this was to stay a one cat home!    I must say, my current owner has given it her best, but after nine months of coaxing, the resident cat will have none of it. I can respect that, though I do hope I will find my forever home with you. Ideally you won't have a cat-chasing dog or territorial cat and are looking for a sweet companion like me. My current person has grown attached to me and I know it is her love for me that she is looking for the right match so I can live my life to its fullest! Adopt me so we can start making beautiful memories together.   Sophie lives in Portlnd and her adoption fee is $80.    Sophie is indoor only (catio is great too!)     This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Fitz is a charming, 11-year-old black domestic shorthair with striking green eyes and a tiny white patch on his chest. He’s been a beloved part of our family since he was a kitten, and it breaks our hearts to part with him—but we’re relocating to Texas next month, and unfortunately, our new rental home does not allow cats. Fitz is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. He’s happiest when he’s curled up in your lap or lounging nearby, soaking in the love and giving gentle purrs in return. He’s a low-maintenance, indoor-only cat who is fully litter trained and easy to care for, with a sleek short coat and a mellow temperament. Over time, Fitz has warmed up beautifully to our young children and now enjoys their company—so he can absolutely be a great companion in a family with respectful kids. He would also do wonderfully in a quiet home with adults or seniors who can offer him the companionship and cuddles he adores. We want nothing more than to find him a peaceful, loving home where he can spend his golden years in comfort and affection. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle soul to share your life with, Fitz may be the perfect match. Note: Fitz is being rehomed by his original family due to an out-of-state move. For more information or to meet him, please complete a pre-adoption application under “ADOPT” at www.catscradlerescue.com. Your info will be forwarded to his family for follow-up and a possible meet-and-greet. Indoor only.  Fitz lives with his family in Portland and his rehoming fee is $25 This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Taco and Kitty Girlfriend, age 7, beautiful and rare brown/gray long-hair cats. Brother and sister, together since birth, both fixed and fully vaccinated with records through Camas Washougal Animal Hospital. They eat a Hill’s prescription diet for urinary care.   Taco is around 12 pounds. Girlfriend about 8. The ideal home would keep them together and allow them indoor and outdoor access, no coyotes. They are independent and shy with strangers, and will be more social and comfortable in a home without other cats, dogs or young kids.   They are not lap kitties, but Taco loves a belly rub and Girlfriend will sometimes cuddle under the blankets. They both love daily playtime with feather toys, brushing and treats. Taco loves to observe the world from a fence.   We have to move cities and are heartbroken to give them up. Looking for a good home with good people who will care for Taco and Girlfriend long term.  This beautiful pair is indoor/outdoor  Their rehoming fee is $50   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
