Story
DOB: July 2022  Yogi is a good-natured, affectionate and easy-going fellow. His foster dad says: “He is the cuddliest cat I have ever met! He is definitely a lap cat and will greet you at every door—whether it is when you return home, or when you exit the washroom, or when you are simply coming back from another room.”  Yogi Bear (his nickname) enjoys being in the company of people of all ages and is comfortable with other cats. He has been introduced to a small dog and was not fazed by the experience. It may take a short time for Yogi to warm up to you, but, after that, he is all about snuggles! He has a curious nature and always wants to know where you are and what you are doing. He is also a bit quirky as he loves hanging out in a bathtub after it has been used and rolling around in the remaining water.   Yogi enjoys playing with dangling or stuffed toys and jumping and leaping onto the cat tree. He would do well in a home with another young cat.  Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee.  February 2, 2025, 12:43 pm

Story
DOB: Est: 2020  Rose is a lovely, pretty cat with expressive green eyes. She had a rough start to life as she was found as a homeless, frightened, and pregnant cat. She gave birth to four kittens who found families, and, now, it is Rose’s turn to find a forever home. Volunteers have helped Rosie develop a trust with humans, and she is ready for a quiet, loving home that will provide her with the comfort and security she craves.  Rosie Posie (her nickname) delights in pats and being brushed, but she appreciates if you approach her in a calm manner. She is food motivated and treats will always get her attention, plus, she will regularly appear in your bedroom in the morning awaiting her breakfast. Being an independent gal, Rosie is content to spend time on her own. She enjoys lounging on the windowsill watching the birds flitter about outside. She also likes to snooze in the sling of a cat tree. Rosie is a quiet, unassuming cat but her gentle spirit will be quickly become a welcome presence in your home. She is social and good-natured with other cats and she’d do well in a home with friendly cat.Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Introducing Rufus! Male    DOB: 2017 Rufus was rescued from a long tough life on the streets of Stoufville, in an industrial area where he was most likely dumped.  He was in rough shape; he had all the battle wounds of street life, and his fur was so badly matted it was attached to his skin.   Thanks to the unconditional love, patience and dedication of his foster mom he has come a long way on his journey and is thriving living the indoor life! Rufus has learned to trust humans, actively seeks attention, enjoys lovins & petting and can chat up a storm!     A gorgeous long haired white tabby with thick dense fur and  an adorable innocent face who has a sweet, calm, gentle nature.   Rufus would do well in a home where he is the only pet.  If you want to be the one to give Rufus the” furever” home he has never known, please fill out ana adoption application and contact us.     November 19, 2024, 4:08 pm

Story
Introducing Milo!  Male     DOB: Oct 20,2022 Milo was surrendered to Saint Cat Rescue when his owner advised they had developed severe allergies. When Milo first came to us, he was heartbroken, scared, and angry. He did not want to be touched and avoided all human contact and even sometimes becoming aggressive when approached.  Thanks to the unconditional love and patience of his foster mom showed him, Milo learned to trust and love again and now active seeks attention.  Milo is a domestic short haired white tabby with cutest little tabby moustache, big bright amber eyes and the most adorable innocent little face who just wants to be loved! t fool you, he can play rough.  Milo would do best in an adult home with an experienced patient cat owner and no other animals as he can get over stimulated and play rough sometimes.  If you want to be the one to embrace Milo for who he is, show him some patience to let him come around on his terms and gain a lifelong companion, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.     November 11, 2024, 7:53 pm

Story
Meet Molly, our charming and vigilant resident security guard. With her sleek fur and keen eyes, Molly has taken it upon herself to look after the pet food cabinet, ensuring everything stays in perfect order. Every morning, she patrols her territory, her paws padding softly as she checks that all is as it should be. It’s a role she’s embraced with grace and dedication. Molly’s story begins on the streets, where she learned to be resourceful and resilient. Despite her tough start, her affectionate nature quickly won over everyone at the shelter. Her intelligence and curiosity made her the perfect candidate for her self-appointed role as guardian of the pet food cabinet. Now, she’s ready to take on a new role: beloved family member. Molly thrives on human interaction and loves nothing more than to curl up next to you, purring contentedly. She’s playful and affectionate, always ready to chase a string or bat at a feather toy. But Molly’s true talent lies in her loyalty. Once she bonds with you, she’s your companion for life, always there to greet you with a nuzzle and a purr. Molly would do best in a home without other pets, where she can be the center of attention and shower you with all her love. She’s waiting for that special someone who will appreciate her unique blend of independence and affection, someone who will give her the forever home she deserves. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and vigilant companion, Molly is the cat for you. Come meet her today and let her steal your heart just as she’s stolen ours. Molly is ready to leave her post as security guard and become the guardian of your heart. Will you be the one to bring her home? November 11, 2024, 7:53 pm
