Story
Pete is a wonderful and sweet boy. He is an exceptional cuddler and wants to lay on you for pets. He is 2 years old coming up in Feb 2025. Pete is very aggressive towards my other, older cat. It is almost vicious in some instances. It isn't fair to my other cat to endure the abuse. It's only gotten worse over time. Pete is very affectionate with my daughter. They are best friends and this is what makes this so difficult for our family. He is so so sweet, loves to snuggle and doesn't like to take no for an answer. He will sleep with you all night. He doesn't mind our dog, but also doesn't seek out anything from her. A family with no other cats would be best for Pete to thrive in.

Story
Trixie is a truly sweet girl. She will flop over for gentle tummy rubs as soon as she's petted. Trixi is fine with being picked up and held for short periods of time. She is a very happy girl and she lays around and purrs for no reason other than she is so contented. Trixie will lay beside you for some pets on the couch or she may curl up behind you if you happen to lay down. She loves to follow her foster mom around the house and she cries for attention and pets. Trixie was born outdoors and she showed up during the snow storm last Christmas with her mom and two siblings at a home. The home owner was kind enough to feed them and provide them with a heated winter shelter. Trixie was very timid when she was rescued at 5 months old but she has come a long way. She has since learned to play and she loves interactive play with wand toys, truly loves chasing a laser light or she can keep herself occupied by batting her toys around or wrestling and interacting with her siblings Toby and Tessa. Another of her favourite past time is just sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels. Trixie is still shy at first with new people and places therefore she is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time it takes for her to become comfortable. Once comfy in her new home you will see just how affectionate and playful this little girl really is. Trixie would do best with a single adopter or a quiet couple because of initial shyness. She has always had other cats around therefore she would love to be adopted with one of her siblings, Toby or Tessa she would do best with a young friendly cat in the home to play with and give her confidence. Trixie is at last looking for a home of her own where she can run., play, feel loved and just be a carefree kitten. If you are interested in adopting Trixie please contact her foster mom: Linda - lsadows@oulook.com If you are interested in adopting Trixie with one of her siblings there would be a reduced adoption fee for both.

Story
Toby was born outdoors. He showed up at a home in the country during the winter storm last Christmas with his mother and two siblings. The owners were kind enough to feed them and supplied a heated shelter to keep them warm. He was rescued at 5 months old and it has taken him time to become comfortable being indoors and with trusting people. Toby has come a long way and he has become a very sweet boy. He purrs loudly when being petted or he'll just lay around purring loudly to show his happiness and contentment. Toby can be picked up however he is not comfortable with being held. He knows when its time for his wet food and he'll sit and scream until its placed in front of him! (no patience this time of day!) It's actually quiet funny! He'll also cry when he wants you to pet him. Once Toby learned how to play he has not stopped. . He is very active and he absolutely loves chasing the laser light, interactive play with wand toys, or you will find him running around the house chasing or wrestling with one of his siblings, Trixie or Tessa. When he does have a bit of downtime you will find him sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels. Toby would love to be adopted with one of his siblings, Trixie or Tessa otherwise he would do best with another young active cat in the home to play with and help him settle in. Toby is still shy at first with new people therefore he is looking a patient adopter and one who is willing to give him the time it takes for him to settle in. Once he is truly comfortable you will see just how sweet and playful this boy really is. Toby would do best with a single adopter or a quiet couple. he will not do well in a busy home or with children because of his initial shyness. Toby is now ready for his forever home where he can just be a carefree kitten. If you are interested in adopting Toby please contact his foster mom: Linda-lshadows@outlook.com Toby's adoption fee is $250..00, however the adoption fee would be reduced if you were interested in adopting him with one of his siblings.

Story
Toby - male- brown tabby - date of birth Oct 22, 2022 Toby and Tessa are siblings and bonded which means that they must be adopted together. They would not do well if separated. They were born outdoors and they showed up at a home in the country during the winter storm of christmas 2022 with their mother. The home owners were kind enough to feed them and supplied a heated shelter to keep them warm. They were rescued at 5 months old and it took time for them to become comfortable and trusting of people. They have come a long way and they have become a very sweet couple. Toby loves to be petted and he purrs loudly or he'll just lay around purring loudly to show his happiness and contentment. Toby can be be picked up and held however he is not comfortable with being held for long periods of time. He enjoys sprawling out on the coffee table in front of the couch for pets and to watch TV. He will let you know by crying every time you pass him if he's not getting enough attention. They know when its time for their wet food and they';; come running. Toby is a little more vocal and he'll sit and cry until it is placed in front of him whereas Tessa will sit patiently and waits. Once they learned how to play they have not stopped. They are quiet active and they absolutely love chasing the laser light, interactive play with wand toys or you will find them running around the house chasing each other or grooming each other. When they do have a bit of downtime you will find them sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels. They are still a bit shy at first with new people therefore they are looking for a patient adopter who is willing to give them the time it takes for them to settle in. Once they are truly comfortable you will will see just how sweet and playful these two really are. Toby and Tessa would do best with a single adopter or a quiet couple. Toby and Tessa are now ready for their forever home where they can spend the rest of their lives together and just be happy and carefree. If you are interested in adopting Toby and Tessa please contact their foster mom Linda at: lsadows@outlook.com Their adoption fee is $400.00 pair.

Story
Hi my name is Onyx! I am a sweet boy that needs time before warming up to new people. I would love to find myself a quiet home of all adults to call my own. When I get comfortable with people I love to get lots of chin and head scratches and will even purr super loud to let you know just how happy I am. I love my temptations treats and will try to lick all the crumbs off your fingers after I have eaten them all. I am hoping to find a person to call my own that wouldn`t mind a cat that is more independent as I tend to want to do my own thing most of the day. Please if that person is out there, bring me home and show me what true love and lots of treats is like.**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this through 24PetConnect by PetPlace or Adopt-A-Pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application.
