Kiara is a 6 year old cat that loves her treats. Unfortunately I am no longer able to care for her due to moving into a place with other pets. She does not due well with other animals and requires a pet/kid free environment. She enjoys looking out of windows and playing with her toys.

Story
Kiromi and Tauri Available for adoption In foster care since: May 1, 2023 Good with: dogs, children, cats Fostered in Dutton, Ontario Adoption fee: $200 for the pair Kiromi and Tauri are two sweet, shy sisters who are looking for their forever home. They are very bonded, and wherever one goes, the other follows, often curling up together. Both love food, especially wet food and treats, which can be helpful in encouraging them to come out of their shells. These girls are still quite timid and would do best in a quiet home, ideally with no other animals. They prefer a smaller space, such as an apartment or small house, where they can feel more secure. Though they have been around other cats, they don't particularly enjoy their company, and they haven't met the dogs in their foster home due to their fear. While they are still fearful of new experiences, they have allowed their foster to pick them up and cuddle them, showing that they are sweet and gentle. These girls just need some time, patience, and love to bloom into the wonderful companions they are meant to be. They are both spayed and up to date on vaccines. The adoption fee for both Kiromi and Tauri is $200. If you're interested in giving these shy sisters a safe and quiet home, please fill out the adoption form below: https://form.jotform.com/241667779440266 https://form.jotform.com/241667779440266

Story
Name: Breed: Age: Gender: Weight: Good with cats or Small Animals: Good with dogs: Good with Young Children: Good with Older Children: Fenced Yard Required: Crate-Trained: House Trained: Matti came to Animalert’s care a little worse for wear and in need of some litterbox training. However,  she has come very far and is thriving in the care of one Animalert’s foster homes. Matti is approx. 4 years old, spayed and vaccinated. Matti can be quite timid and easily startled at times and would do best in a quiet home, with someone who is home often. She is a sweet cat that enjoys the simple things in life, sleeping and eating. She often sleeps through the night and likes to start the day by politely waking her foster with gentle pats and grouchy meows. Her favourite time of day is breakfast, this is when she is most affectionate. As such, before meal times is a great time to incorporate a brushing routine. Due to Matti'sbeautiful long coat, frequent brushing is a necessity to prevent matting of the fur and hairballs.  Matti has yet to find a conventional cat toy that she loves or doesn’t get bored of easily, but she absolutely lights up when there is a bug to catch or treats to fetch. Matti has recently become littlerbox efficient, with a key factor in her success being routine, cat attract, and positive reinforcement. To maintain her training, it will be important to establish a routine and prepare for potential mishaps during the transition period after adoption. We recommend the use of pee pads combined with an open litter box with low walls, on an easy to clean floor surface. Story
Name: Breed: Age: Gender: Weight: Good with cats or Small Animals: Good with dogs: Good with Young Children: Good with Older Children: Fenced Yard Required: Crate-Trained: House Trained: 3 yr old Leah and 16 month old Mila have adjusted quickly into their foster home. Ideally they should be adopted together as they enjoy the bond of being mother/daughter. Mila is a beautiful long haired tabby and enjoys chasing the ball inside the track. She loves being brushed and picked up despite being a bit shy and hiding initially when moved into foster care.  Leah is a short haired tabby.  She is good natured, affectionate enjoys a good belly rub and brushing. She claimed the top tier of the climbing tower and can often be found snoozing there. Both cats have been recently spayed and had their first vaccines. They are litter trained and are eating a variety of canned foods. In their past they have lived with older children but would be most happy being the only pets in the home Adoption fee 500.00 519--642-7732 https://www.animalert.ca/apply/cat-adoption If you are interested in providing a forever home, please complete the online adoption application at this link, https://www.animalert.ca/apply/dog-adoption.
