Story
Meet Jeffrey!Jeffrey is a sweet and playful black-and-white kitty who loves nothing more than snuggling up with his brother, Snowcap. These two are the best of friends, always wrestling, chasing each other around, and then curling up together for a well-earned nap. Jeffrey has a loving personality and enjoys lounging in laps, soaking up all the affection he can get. While he has plenty of young kitty energy and loves to play, he also knows how to relax and enjoy cuddle time. The only other cat he’s met is his brother, but he’s done well with a small dog in his previous home and even tried to play! Jeffrey has also been around kids and handled it well, though he can be a little shy when meeting new people. With a little patience, he quickly comes out of his shell and shows off his sweet and playful nature. Whether you’re looking for a lap cat, a playful buddy, or pair of sweet brother,Jeffrey is ready to bring love and fun into your home!

Story
Hello I`m Ella, a beautiful tuxedo kitty. I can be picky about other pets, but I love my people. My favorite activities are lounging on a cat tree and eating a fancy meal. I would do best in a home without young children under 12 years of age, as I play a bit rough and enjoy a more mature, calm environment. I am a bit of an escape artist - I will wait at the door ready to dart, so watch your feet well! I just want to explore and live a full, enriched life. I would love a house with a catio!

Story
Meet Tiger, a striking lynx point cat with a quiet, captivating personality. Rescued and ready for a fresh start, Tiger’s beauty is only matched by his subtle charm. His cream-colored coat, adorned with delicate tabby markings, and his mesmerizing blue eyes make him truly one of a kind. This shy boy thrives in calm and peaceful environments. While he may take some time to warm up, once he feels safe, Tiger reveals his sweet and gentle nature. He enjoys soft pets and will reward your patience with soft purrs and trust-filled moments. Tiger finds comfort in quiet spaces, often retreating to cozy spots to relax or perch by the window to watch the world go by.Tiger’s reserved demeanor makes him best suited for a home with understanding adopters who can give him the time and space he needs to adjust. While he has shown he can coexist peacefully with other pets, gradual introductions and a slow pace will help him feel more at ease.A nurturing and patient environment where Tiger can feel secure and loved is exactly what he needs. Interactive toys for quiet play, a warm lap for snuggles (on his terms), and a window perch to enjoy the sights outside would make him feel right at home.If you’re ready to open your heart to a gentle, shy companion like Tiger, stop by and meet him today. With love and understanding, Tiger will blossom into a cherished member of your family, bringing calm and quiet joy to your home.

Story
My name is Pip and I was born in a PAWS foster home on 4/9/22. My mom was a free roaming cat that had had a few litters in an area that wasn't very safe for kittens so her caretaker surrendered her, when she was pregnant with me) to PAWS-OK.  I am very independent and curious but also very active.  My foster mom says I really wanted to be a dog because I "bark" more than I "meow" - some people think I am upset when they hear me but it really gets your attention (which is what I want!).   I was adopted with my sister when I was about 6 months old and the very next day we both came back to PAWS-OK because we had "too much energy" for our new owners.  I don't care for carriers very much - I like big areas where I can stretch my legs and run and play.   I need a cat savvy home because I can be a little hard headed (like about going into a crate???) with a family who will love me for my bold attitude. Please fill out a Adoption Request Form if you are interested in adopting me! PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at  https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form .  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.  October 22, 2024, 12:24 am
