Recent TNR, beautiful tortoiseshell and very loving. She was very  grateful to be in my home recovering from her spay.  Loves to give  baths. It was very difficult to return her to her colony. Story
Meet Herrera a beautiful white and orange tabby who is a true survivor. Herrera arrived in rescue along with 3 siblings in September of 2024. Herrera was always on the shy side and in November we discovered she had a heart murmur. Upon further testing she was diagnosed with FIP in December of 2024. If you are not familiar with FIP-it is a fatal, immune-mediated disease in cats caused by certain strains of feline coronavirus. This virus usually attacks organs in the body-and for Herrera it attacked her heart. Thankfully we have a treatment that has great success! Herrera started treatment right away and since completion her bloodwork has been great the last two times. She has been spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, combo tested negative and now ready for adoption. While she no longer has a heart murmur she is still on one medication until her next visit (which is covered by Purrfect Friends.) We are happy to provide her medical records and discuss further with approved applications.  Herrera is looking for a loving and more quiet home. She was born around July of 2024, making her around 9 months old.  Her best friend has been an 8 year old FIP survivor - Lebanon (also a purrfect friends kitty). She loves her big brother! She would love to have fur siblings of her own. She is not aggressive, but she is shy at first. She loves toys, running water, and Churu treats. She loves to play! She is such a sweet girl and loves to purr.   Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125 Application can be found at: Adoption Application FormApril 16, 2025, 4:40 pm

Story
Lebanon is a beautiful long haired cat. He is a gentle giant. He does great with other cats but also is not afraid to do his own thing. He loves to curl up and take nap. His birthday is approximately August 21, 2018. We suspect he is around six years old or older. He is positive for FIV but that is not a big deal - here is a link for more info. https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats Lebanon would do best in a quiet home. He loves attention and is not afraid to seek it but wants it on his own terms! He loves to snuggle at night and sleep in bed with his humans. It will take him time to adjust but with the right start and introductions Lebanon will do great! He is up to date on all his vaccinations and is microchipped and neutered. Lebanon has had a rough start to life and is looking for his permanent forever home. He is such a sweetheart and has been a big brother and friend to our foster kitty Herrera.....he is a gentle giant!  Adoption fee $60 Here is a link to our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlApril 16, 2025, 5:03 pm

Story
Garrett was adopted as a kitten back in 2019. He was well loved and cared for but sadly his mom is now in a nursing home. No family member was able to take him in, so thankfully we were contacted. Garrett is an amazing cat. Whoever gets him is incredibly lucky. He craves affection & wants nothing more than to be petted. Then it’s purring & on your lap. He follows you around like a dog! Its hard to get him to stay still for pics. He did have some stool issues which we seem to have under control with a specific diet.  Born in 2019, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $60. Here is our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlApril 20, 2025, 12:30 pm

Story
A friend of our director reached out because multiple kitties had been dumped at her property in Wilmington. We took in 12 cats and they have all been vetted, spayed/neutered.  Seth is a handsome flamepoint siamese - friendly and sweet. Great with other kitties and happy to be safe inside. He scratched his eye when we first got him and it is so much better now. He was adopted out but the resident cat just was not a fan....so he is back with us looking for his forever human! Born likely late spring of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125. He needs to be adopted with one of his buddies or in a home with other kitties (that will appreciate him!). Local adoptions only (Cincinnati) Here is our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlApril 18, 2025, 4:52 pm

Story
Black house panther alert! Stoli is very exotic looking, almost like a black Siamese. His coat is magnificent, he is very handsome. Stoli  is on the shy side but is not afraid. He will freely hang out in the same room with you, do all the normal cat things like watch the birds & squirrels outside the windows, play with toys, etc but he stays just out of reach from being touched. He justs seems worried that something bad might happen. So like most cats - loving him is on his terms. Stoli thrives on routines & once comfortable enjoys being petted some - you can especially pet him when he is eating his daily canned food. He is very smart and simply said - seems to prefer cats to people. Since Stoli is distrustful of new things he would take awhile to settle in.  We don't know why some lack confidence but we do know that all deserve homes, and to be loved & accepted for who they are. Stoli would do best in a quiet home & with someone willing to continue to help him gain confidence. At this time he is not a kitty that will come & get into your lap but he is still a very nice boy. He's come so far! Since Stoli loves other kitties so we would love to see him in a home with a buddy that would be nice to him. His current buddy in his foster home is Cas, who is very much like him. They are constantly together. Born likely around March 7, 2021. He is fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv.  Adoption fee $60 or 2 adults for $100.  He really needs to be adopted into a home with other cats. Please fill out our application and please answer all the questions completely if you are interested.  Here is a link!  http://www.purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.html  March 30, 2025, 1:38 pm
