Story
This is Rolo. Just like the candy she's named after, she might seem a little opaque when you first meet her but is full of gooey sweetness on the inside. Also like the candy, she's got no tail! She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home. If you're interested in meeting Rolo, please contact the shelter or stop by between noon and 4 pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Story
Beautiful bonded brothers need a loving homeTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you. Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Donovan and Captain are bonded brothers who need a loving home that will allow them to be together forever.  You see, both these boys are a bit shy at first.  They will need someone who can give them time to adjust to their new home and environment.  They have come along way in foster care.  Donovan sleeps with his foster mom and curls up on the couch next to her, he did not do any of that when he was first rescued.  Captain is so sweet but he is just timid.  He will get some pets and loving from his foster mom but it is on his terms.    Captain and Donovan are always playing together, sleeping together, basically they do most things together.  They are so much fun to watch and provide hours of entertainment.  As stated above, they will need time to adjust to their new home but once they are comfortable, what a great feeling it will be to know you gave these boys a chance they deserve so much.     Approx. birth date: 4/1/21 Foster: MG  October 23, 2024, 1:04 pm

Story
Joy is a confident happy kittyTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Joy has been in foster care her whole life. Joy is sweet and loving and will seek out attention and ask to be pet.  But it is a bit of a process with her. Joy had a tough start so initially she has a bit of fear to overcome.  Shy and fearful cats are overlooked all to often in rescue.  If someone would give Joy a chance, you will see the wonderful cat she has blossomed into. Joy is ready to find a family that will give her a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings and who can offer her companionship that will help to boost her confidence.   Approx. birth date: 9/9/2022 Foster:  MGOctober 23, 2024, 1:04 pm

Story
Bright has turned into a princeTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Bright has been in foster care since he was a kitten.  He was so shy that nobody wanted to adopt him.  My how things have changed. Now Bright may still be shy at first.  He may need some time to adapt to his new environment.  But once he does, look out because here comes a handsome, soft, and loving cat.  Bright has a best friend in foster care and her name is Scarlett.  Although they are not related, they look alike and they love to play together. Bright is a big boy now and he is ready for his forever family.    Approx. birth date: 9/9/2022 Foster:  MGOctober 23, 2024, 1:04 pm

Story
Mittens is being surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is utd on vaccinations & spayed. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training, it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 8lbs.
