Star and her littermates were surrendered to ARF. She spent time in one of our loving foster homes until she was old enough to be spayed. She is now ready to be adopted by a loving family. She will need an adopter that is willing to keep up with brushing her medium length hair in order to keep it at its best. Please stop by to meet this sweet fluff ball to see if she is the purrfect fit for you! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Story
Frannie is a gentle soul who had a difficult time adjusting to the shelter when she came in with her two brothers. It was a new place for her, and she was nervous about all of the new people, smells, and sounds. Our speciality-trained group of TLC volunteers works with Frannie daily, helping to improve her confidence and show her that there are good people in the world. She is starting to come out of her shell. Frannie loves Churu treats and watching the birds outside the window. Frannie will do best in a home with another cat-friendly cat, either an existing resident cat or one of her pals at ARF. She will need a quiet, patient home that will give her time to blossom and settle into a new routine. Earning a cat's trust is so rewarding and we know that the right person is out there looking for a quiet companion like Frannie. Frannie is available for foster to adopt. If you are interested in meeting her, please email arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com

Story
Freddie and Frank have come such a long way from their arrival in February 2024. For the first three months, these boys, along with another cat, Frannie, spent time with a special team of volunteers who helped them to decompress. They have not had an easy life. They were abandoned with one of our rescue partners. We don't know their backstory. We don't know if they were once loved and cherished family pets, or were neglected and then abandoned. What we do know is that they deserve to be loved, and to have a safe, forever home where they will not be left behind again. While we learned that Frannie is not especially bonded to the boys, Frank and Freddie are intensely bonded to one another. We do not want to split them up. We think they'd be broken-hearted if we separated them from one another, and they have already had enough heartbreak. That means we are searching for a patient home that's willing to work with two shy, reserved cats and show them what love is. They are beautiful and healthy, love treats, play with toys and now enjoy petting and an occasional lap. They have come a long way since we first received them. We know this is a tall order, but we're hopeful that there is someone out there with a big heart and room in their home for these sweethearts, who with time and patience, will learn to trust and become valued members of a family, maybe for the first time in their lives. Frank and Freddie are available for foster to adopt to ensure that it is the right fit. If you are interested, please reach out to arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com for more information.

Story
Albelo is available for foster to adopt. Please contact his consultant at arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com Albelo was trapped with some colony cats, but this boy was too sweet to be turned back out! This friendly guy is the full package! Loves to be loved, is a champion snuggler and is a super affectionate lap cat. Albelo also enjoys playtime, chasing after toy mice and ribbon wands. Albelo is FIV+. But, do not let that worry you! FIV cannot be transmitted to people or to dogs. It is transmitted through deep bite wounds from another cat and it is typically transmitted between cats living outdoors, that are competing for limited resources. FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. Our adoption consultants can discuss his diagnosis further with any potential adopters. Could you be the right fit to give this handsome boy a much deserved opportunity to live a life off of the streets in a safe and loving home? Albelo is currently eating Prescription diet Z/D food. If you would like more info or to meet Albelo, please contact his consultant at arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Story
Meet Oliver, a sweet, delightful junior. Though he may be shy at first, he's quick to warm up and show his friendly side. His curiosity knows no bounds and he's always on the hunt for new adventures. Oliver's playful nature shines when he's visiting other cats at their cage, chasing after wand toys or pouncing after the laser light. Adopting Oliver means gaining a companion who will bring joy, laughter and a touch of mystery into your life. He's not just a pet, he's a friend who will stick by your side and explore the world with you one day at a time. Oliver is available for adoption via consultant, so that details about medical care he received while at the shelter can be shared with his adopter. Please email arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com for more information and to schedule an appointment. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm.
