Story
Hershey is a 13 year old boy who comes from a loving home, but is looking for a family who can give him the extra attention he craves. We recently had a high needs baby, and he has had trouble adapting to not being the center of our world. We hope to find him a person who can give him all the cuddles he deserves. Despite his age, he still loves to run and play. He is a master at cuddling and will make himself comfortable in your lap all day long, and his purr motor is always on overdrive. But most of all, he loves to eat! He has never been around kids or dogs, so I expect he would be skittish at first, but he is a sweetheart who would get along with anyone as long as they're gentle with him. He is front declawed (required by landlord) and has never tried to bite anyone. He is a social cat, talkative, and wants to spend most of the day around his humans. Hershey was rescued from a shelter at 3 months old with his sister, Peanut, who is also up for adoption. He has no medical issues.

Peanut is a 13 year old girl who comes from a loving home, but is looking for a family who can give her the extra attention she craves. We recently had a high needs baby, and she has had trouble adapting to not being the center of our world. We hope to find her a person who can give her all the cuddles she deserves. This sweet old lady wants to spend her day napping on soft blankets or by a window. She loves to snuggle on a warm lap and is an expert biscuit maker. Most of all, she loves to play! She has never been around kids or dogs, so I expect she would be skittish at first. She can be nervous around strangers and may take some time to warm up, but she will be a dear companion once her trust is earned. She is front declawed (required by landlord) and has never tried to bite anyone. She is a fairly social cat and wants to spend a lot of quality time with her humans every day. Peanut was rescued from a shelter at 3 months old with her brother, Hershey, who is also up for adoption.

Hello, my name is Odele. I was previously adopted and recently returned due to no fault of my own. I am very sweet and easy going. I am quiet and independent, I can keep myself content and will seek you out when I want some snuggles. I love to be pet, but I`m not a fan of being picked up or held. I do not want to be around other animals, but enjoy one on one time with my person. I think I would do better in a home with teens and adults, no little kids for me. If you want a best friend for a life, come meet me today! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- FeLV/FIV testing- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00

Story
Hi, I`m Sally! I am ready for a forever home! I am really sweet and very cute. Just check out the adorable splotch on my nose! I love to make new friends and purr while you pet me. I`m not a fan of being picked up and carried around, but I really enjoy sitting by my favorite person and snuggling in. I will need a quiet, calm home to relax in. I would like only adult companions as little kids are just too much for me. I can be nervous when I move into a new home, so I would greatly appreciate someone who has owned a nervous kitty before who will give me time to adjust. Once I am comfortable, I am snuggly, goofy, and sweet. Come meet me today!I am a senior cat that is eligible for the Senior 2 Senior Adoption Program! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $50.00FELV/FIV testing can be done for additional $35.00. Highly encouraged for multi-cat households.

If you are thinking of adopting an FIV positive cat, you may worry that the cat will become sick soon, and this will mean high veterinary costs and heartache. You may also worry about the risk to your own cat. Here are answers to some common questions:Will I be adopting a sick cat? Most of our FIV cats are clinically healthy. FIV is a “slow” virus and can take years before it causes any problems. New research shows that some cats never have clinical signs from FIV.Will my new cat make my other pets sick?FIV can only affect cats, so other animals (and people) are not at risk. Recent studies have shown that FIV+ cats do not have to be isolated in a stable household, as the virus does not spread easily. The important exception is if the cats fight because FIV is spread through deep bite wounds. When will this cat get sick and what might happen?FIV gradually weakens the immune system, and may eventually result in infections and diseases that don’t affect normal healthy cats. We can’t predict when an individual cat will get sick, but typically they remain healthy for years after infection. Studies have shown that the average FIV+ cat lives just as long as any other cat.Is there anything I can do to protect my new cat from getting sick? It’s important to take reasonable measures to keep the cat healthy and infection free.-Keep the cat strictly indoors-No raw foods-Regular vaccination-Good parasite control-Regular veterinary check-upsWhat if my cat gets sick and I cannot afford the treatments my veterinarian recommends? The way we
