HISTORY: In the summer of 2018, a small frail kitten showed up in Tulip garden asking for food, of which I eagarly gave her. She ate as if she'd not eaten for a while. I knew that she was cared for by an owner because she had a collar around her neck. Unfortunately, the collar had no name nor phone/address, so I could not locate her owner. However, I posted her picture and my contact information at all the local stores in my neiborhood, hoping to get a response, but to no avail. Finally, I fondly kept her as my own. I named her Carmelita because it is a name for girls that has its root in Hebrew. The meaning of Carmelita is “garden, orchard” and it is a variant form of Carmen or Carmel (Hebrew)..Carmelita is most definitely "rambunctious", but not in a negtive way. She is noisy (she talks a lot), active, playful (especially with other cats) and enegetic. Moreover, Carmelita enjoys playing with other cats (and loves to run up and down stairs) I hope that the new family enjoys her too.

This sweet baby seems to have been abandoned. She was skin and bones when she showed up around our house. She has been given flea medicine and dewormer but hasn’t been taken to the vet. She is a sweetheart and has grown fond of pets and sitting in our laps. She coexists with our cats and dogs with the exception of one of our cats who bullies her. She truly deserves a better home environment.

Chief is 7.5 years old. He is part Maine coon. He lives inside, but when I had a condo with a balcony he LOVED to go out there and sit. We have another cat and a baby and it’s all too much for us. Chief would love it if he could sleep in the same room as you, we have to lock him out at night and he hates it. He won’t sit on your lap but he does follow you around and wants to be pet. If you are lucky he will sometimes snuggle up next to you. I want someone to give him more attention and love than he gets now. It’s heartbreaking to post him for rehoming. But it would lighten our load tremendously. I was taking him to a vet routinely but haven’t been in a year or so. I can give you the vet name for records.

Shadow is a sweet little guy and a purr machine. Please help find a loving home for this sweet boy. He loves to sit on your lap or next to you and will follow you all around (hence why i named him Shadow). Shadow loves treats. He loves to play with cat toys and has youthful energy. He enjoys being in charge and should be placed in a home without other kitties at least in my experience. To be fair we have three males so he may be different in a different environment . He is litter box trained and loves the sunshine. Also does not claw furniture. We found him outside in September 2023 and he appears to be abandoned. He is microchipped but the contact information was never updated. We placed info on Facebook, Pawboost, Nextdoor, and locally to no avail.

Penny is a sweet, short-haired tortoiseshell cat. She spends her days sunning herself and playing with her yorkipoo friend, Louie. She has been a wonderful cat who has grown up with our family and been loved dearly by our children. She's used to a home with lots of activity and does well adjusting when there's a party or children running around! She's very quiet and independent. Our family situation has recently changed and we are looking for a loving family to adopt Penny. She receives a dose of insulin daily as a treatment for diabetes. She is up-to-date on her shots and has been spayed. She would make a wonderful companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend.
