Miss Ivy is still available as we search for the perfect home. She is a sweet 6 year old girl who loves the company of her human, but is also very independent. Ivy is a bit shy and operates on her own terms, but once she knows she is in a safe space, she will be eager to give you love and affection. Her favorite places to sleep are under the bed or in a closet, and on the cat tree basking in the sun. Ivy loves to sit by you while you’re watching TV, lay by an open window, and play with toys (springs, strings, and catnip of course are her absolute favorites!). She also LOVES to be brushed and will start purring instantly. This girl is looking for a patient and loving adopter who will give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home. Ivy needs to be the only cat in the home, and she will do best with older kids and adults. She truly is a sweetie. We know you’ll fall in love with her!

Spencer came to us from outside and has adapted pretty well. Would do better in a household with fewer cats. Does well with dogs but not with too many pets. Can be a sweet cat but seems to get irritable when there are too many creatures around. She enjoys being petted and playing with toys especially with cat wands or strings. Looking for a seasoned cat lover who would have Spencer with one or two other cats/ pets.

Story

Sara was a stray kitten that I took in when she was pregnant. She is about 1 year old. She was born feral and had adapted relatively well to indoor life, but she does not like being in a household with two many other cats. She is okay with my male cat, but when my daughter returned from college with her female cat Sara began marking and fighting with the other cat. Sara would be best in a home with either only one other male cat or no other cats. She is still adjusting to humans and does not like to be held but she does like pets and increasingly craves human affection. She is a very sweet girl and is very healthy. I hate to see her go and I am doing everything I can to not see her and up in a shelter.

Chessie is about 7yrs old and has had quite a journey. She was previously owned by family friends w/ an energetic dog, which led her to spend much of her time hiding in their basement. When we first met her, she was understandably terrified for almost a week. However, once she got to know us and became familiar with our scent, she transformed into the most loving cat you could imagine! It truly breaks our hearts that we cannot keep both Chessie and our other cat, Lily. Lily feels threatened by other cats and worries they might steal attention from her. If you have any pets—especially cats or dogs—introduce them slowly and gently. While she adapts well, she's still young enough to want to play. Chessie has an incredible reach on her arms that can surprise you! Her coat is beautifully long and soft; while maintaining it helps keep her looking great, it's not always necessary. I adore her so much but feel it's best for both cats if they are not together. You'll adore Chessie like we do!

Hello Im Rowen! I am a 6 year old orange tabby. I love to laze about and look out the windows or look around the backyard if you have one. I also love to nap wherever you are and will sleep in bed with you if you let me! I have lived with other cats, dogs, and children, however I do not like living with dogs very much which is why I am looking for a new home. I had no problem with the child I lived with or visiting children, and it is a hit or miss with other cats. I have never went potty outside my litterbox and love to scratch on cardboard scratchers most. I love treats too! I am known for being a confident cat, people always comment on how big and proud I look. I really am a wonderful cat and the only reason I am looking for a new home is I do not get along with the dog at my current home.
