Story
Ozzy came to us via our local vet who reached out for help finding him a forever home -- he was in a group of adults being TNR'd. Thought to be feral at first, and very frightened, he got a little more comfortable at the office every day -- when we picked him up to evaluate, he melted into our foster's arms... He WANTS to be loved, but he needs to trust you before he allows himself to be comfortable. He is gorgeous with a full, silky coat of fur, and oh so soft. He does great with other cats... He is about 6 months old, and has a $125 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins.

Story
Ruby Tuesday and Princess Gracie are a pair of 15 year old sisters, whose owners unfortunately are now in a nursing home. These girls were loved and spoiled -- climbing walls, handcrafted furniture and climbing posts just for them -- they are feeling a little lost and lonely right now, and need someone with lots of time to dedicate to them. They MUST be adopted together. These girls are very active and chatty, and potential adopted must have breed experience, as Bengals are like no other cat... They do have papers and are TICA registered. They are gorgeous, unique girls who like people and attention but are not lap cats. They each have a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Story
Calli is full of FLUFF!, all love and sweetness. She is pretty relaxed, enjoys people and pets! She is estimated to be about 3 years old -- she has been living in a barn in rural Licking County for the past couple of years, known to be extremely friendly. Since coming to us she has proved this time and time again she does take well to other new kitties that come in her space. She LOVES her humans. When we leave the cottage she goes to the window and sees us off. She is a shelter fav, she greets new people at the door or lays in her cat condo for pets. We just got a window seat for her and she adores it. She loves a cracked window for some fresh air. She has good litterbox manners and is just a gentle girl. She is FIV+ -- these kitties can live with other cats as long as everyone is spayed/neutered and gets along well. She has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized.
