Queenie is a very sweet gal who lost her home due to a domestic abuse problem. Fortunately, Queenie was not abused herself! She is extremely affectionate, and a laid-back girl who loves a good comfortable place to sleep! She has never seen a dog, but seems to get along well with one or two other cats, although she is a bit bossy with cats because it is her goal in life to get the most attention! Queenie has healed from the ear infection she had when she arrived, which has disfigured her ear. She is basically healthy, and likes dry kibble and wet food. She hopes you will see the love in her eyes and not focus on her ear.

This kitten was found behind where I work. It had been spotted for about a week alone before one of my coworkers finally picked it up and took it home. They are allergic so they were looking for a home. After not being to find a home, they were going to drop it off at a shelter and instead of leaving it at a shelter I told them I would take the kitten. However, the cat I currently have has not been handling the arrival of the new kitten well. My current cat has been super stressed and not himself the past few days due to the kitten. I would love to find a wonderful home for this kitten. It is the sweetest cat I have ever met; it instantly loves people and purrs. I have appointment this Friday, November 29th at my vet to get the kitten an adoption exam and make sure he is on the path to getting all his shots and proper stuff.

Jeanne is our longest resident currently. She's been with us over a year and has had some challenges. She went into foster care since she doesn't get along with the other cats at the ARC but she didn't do any better there. She came back to us and we would love nothing more than to place her in a home with someone that is looking for a loving, affectionate cat but ideally no other cats in the home. She loves people and would make a great lapcat for someone that needs companionship after a long, hard day at the office. She is absolutely gorgeous!! Howdy folks, I like my kennel mate, Amber am also 14 years old. I started life off as a stray and then was taken into foster care where I have been for some time. I am a bit shy at first but once I trust you I'm a great friend to have around. I also don't care for dogs and am also looking for a home where I can just spend my golden years in a safe, loving space. I am also available for meet and greets in the Marengo, OH area in my foster home. If you've always wanted to help a senior critter, here is your chance.
