Twice the love here folks! Roscoe and Ricky (son), along with 11 of their friends, were rescued last year when their senior owner could no longer care for or feed them. Roscoe and Ricky are bonded, so they must be adopted "together". Ricky started out a little bit shy, but once in a foster home with my friend Teri, he enjoys running around and chasing Roscoe, and thinks life is great! He also likes to spend time in my friend Teri's lap, snuggling. Roscoe is outgoing and affectionate. At first he didn't seem to want to be a lap cat, but he is now! Roscoe is quite fond of Ricky, as is apparent in the pictures. I have always loved this color in a cat. The "cream or tan " color is so handsome in these boys. Both boys love attention, but it takes Ricky a bit longer then Roscoe to warm up in new situations. But with love, they have both adjusted just fine. Both boys have been neutered, vaccinated and have tested negative for leukemia/FIV. When you adopt a "pair" of cats, the adoption fee is only $150 for both instead of $200 All adopters receive copies of all medical records. Beautiful Honey. This girl is so photogenic. I honestly don't think I have taken any bad pictures. This very sweet girl came to me after her owner passed away/. She was in a home with another cat and a dog. I can't say enough good things about her. Honey is outgoing and sweet, and quite honestly I don't know why I still have her. She is about 8 years old, but so what!! Cats can live to be 18 plus years. Did I mention that she is a stunning dilute calico? Honey is spayed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. Well, this handsome and friendly boy was rescued by a friend. She saw him curled up in the middle of a busy road. Cars were swerving around him, until she sprang into action, jumped out of her car, and scooped Princey into her arms. He didn't appear to have any injuries, but we suspected he might have been tapped by a car. I took him to my veterinarian, and fortunately we didn't find anything wrong with him. . Princey is about 2 years old, neutered and has a beautiful shiny black coat He is tall and sleek, and has a long tail. He is very outgoing and tolerates the company of other cats. He would probably be okay with another cat or just adopted as the only cat in your home. He is ready and waiting for a loving home, with no more encounters with cars. He has been wormed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. His adoption fee is $100 and adopters will receive copies of all his medical records. . I fostered Daffodil in my home for about two months this winter. During that time, I got to know her personality pretty well! I spent a lot of time working with her and trying to get her to warm up to me. She made great strides, however at this time she is not a cat that wants physical contact with people. She would "talk" to me, make eye contact, and absolutely loved being scratched with a scratcher but she is afraid of being approached by a human hand. What does she love, though? OTHER CATS!!! She loved interacting with my other cats, and would play with them, and played by herself as well. She showed none of the initial wariness that we typically see when cats are introduced to each other. She really craves interacting with others of her own species. So, if you are looking for an independent cat and a buddy for a cat that you already have, Daffodil may be the ideal cat for you! -Dr. Page Borger.
