Anchovy - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 5/1/2023. Anchovy is current on is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative. Anchovy is a SH Grey and White. Anchovy was brought to Avon Lake Animal Clinic by a good samaritan, where he was treated for a really nasty double eye infection. He has recovered except for some minor changes to his left eye that do not affect his overall vision. He is being fostered in a home by one of his caretakers from the Clinic. He believes playing with toys and running around the apartment is his full-time job, with cuddles or pets being reserved only for bedtime. He is a professional acrobat when playing with his favorite dangler toy and loves to play hide-and-seek (although he isn't very good at hiding sometimes). He loves to carry his toys around and will even bring them into bed if he feels you are going to sleep too early!! He has done okay with other cats and dogs given the time to warm up to them. He's a little wary around new people but bring out some toys and he'll be your best friend in no time. He will need time to adjust to a new home, and proper introductions to new home and family and other pets. He is a SH White with some Black. Duncan was found by a Vet Tech from a local veterinary clinic and rescued. He is very sweet, social, playful and busy!! He has a great personality as well !! Duncan is ready for his forever, indoor home. He will need time to adjust to life in a home from cage / shelter life. Luciano - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 4/27/2022. Luciano is current on his vaccines and is tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is NEGATIVE. He is a SH Black and White. Luciano was rescued by LAS after he was reported living and hiding in the shrubs all alone at a local BP station. He was seen for days by staff and reported to us. He is darling and coming around to be such a sweet, social and playful boy! He is looking for a loving home and family! He will need time to adjust to a new home from shelter life. I got her from a friend that was not interested in having her anymore. I am not sure how old she is but a guess would be about 5 or 6. Looking for a nice loving home that has the time for one on one attention with her. She is very loving but doesn’t like to be handled. She is an animal that prefers to be the only cat in the room preferably no dogs in the same household. Loves scratch pads!!!

Story

Miyagi was adopted in Sept of 2019 at 3 mo old. At adoption, she was classified as a special needs adoption due to having a slight head tremor for unknown reasons. As time went on, Miyagi had her first seizure. After a few breakthrough seizures and many medication adjustments, Miyagi was additionally prescribed Keppra as well, and was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. I was told by many doctors that more testing could be conducted, such as an MRI of her brain, but that this would cost thousands of dollars and still might not give us a solid answer or a cure. Her quality of life is great and is maintained through medication. She now is prescribed Keppra 3x a day (every 8 hours) and Phenobarbital 2x a day (every 12 hours). Miyagi is a sweet, loving, and cuddly cat. She is great around children and absolutely loves to sit on your lap. We are looking to rehome her due to us expecting a baby in July, which will result in us having 3 under 3, and Miyagi deserving more undivided attention.
