Meet Grizzly (Grizz) and Boo Bear (I call them the bear brothers). They were my brother's very loved boys. He passed away and they came to me. I have a 19 year old cat who does not like other cats so I am unable to keep them. Grizz is about 4 or 5 years old and Boo is about 2 years old. They are both very sweet and loving once they get to know you (only takes a day or 2). They both tolerate my Great Dane, but it took some intro time. They are both over weight, but I am working with the vet to get their weights down to an appropriate level. They are completely bonded and must be adopted together. Grizz is chipped, but Boo is not. They are NOT outside cats. Because of the situation, they are currently living in the spare bedroom and bathroom. Which is roomy enough, but they are such social, loving cats that they need to be somewhere they can be with you. Which is what they deserve.

Meet Mama Mayo! Mayo came in with 5 beautiful babies. She raised them and they are now waiting for their forever homes with other kittens their age in our kitten play room. In the meantime, Mama Mayo has been living the best post-mom life she can here in the shelter. Mayo is a super sweet kitty, and loves to rub all over your feet when you are walking. She will chase toys when given the chance, but also loves to chill out and soak up some sun rays. Mama Mayo will be a wonderful cat for any family. She gets along with other cats here at the shelter and although she seems afraid of dogs, she doesn't try to attack them, so we think she could live with a dog that would mostly leave her alone. Mayo is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. She lives in our Social Room with the other free-roaming cats and has lots of opportunities for love and attention. We think she would probably do best in a home with another affectionate cat that already trusts humans. Fantine doesn’t seem to like dogs; she’s afraid of them when she sees them through the glass here in the shelter. She loves wet food, crunchy treats, and watching the birds outside in the yard.
