Pierce and his siblings were born when a stray mother cat was found searching for food at a fast-food restaurant in Statesville, NC right about March 17. Mom and kittens were all given Irish names to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Pierce is a very handsome gentleman wearing a tuxedo and was named after the Irish actor Pierce Brosnan. He was recently neutered and is a healthy and happy - beautifully marked older kitten. Pierce loves to play with his siblings and the other cats/kittens at our rescue. He is a sweet kitten who also loves to chow down his food! He is negative for FIV/Leukemia, and he has received both rounds of his 5-way vaccines, been dewormed and received flea treatment. He is a beautiful, very healthy kitty! If you are interested in this sweet young cat, please let us know, and we will send an application for adoption to your email. Arrangements can be made for you to visit him before adoption. We also offer a 3-day trial adoption period. Thank you for your interest in adopting a truly rescued pet! Story
Paddicake is a very sweet young female cat that came up to a caring person for help right before St. Paddy's Day. She was pregnant and gave birth to 5 kittens almost immediately. The Good Samaritan contacted our rescue soon afterwards and we took in mother and babies where they thrived. The kittens are healthy, and Paddy has been spayed. She is FIV/Leuk. negative, and she has had all her shots. Paddy is healthy and definitely ready for a loving home of her own. She will never have to go through the ordeal of giving birth again! Paddy has been around dogs and of course, other cats. If you are interested in Paddy, please let us know. We will be happy to send an application for adoption to you by email or make arrangements for you to visit her at her foster's home. If you have any questions about Paddy, please do not hesitate to contact us: citizens4animals@yahoo.com Thank you for your interest in a truly rescued animal!

Story
Dudette came to us when a good Samaritan found her living in a storm drain in Hickory, rescued, and was placed in foster care in Statesville. She had either been dumped there or just wandered around and found herself living there with no mother cat, siblings, food, water or shelter at a very young age. It was a terrible beginning of life for a very sweet, beautiful kitten. Dudette is now 5 months old and was just spayed this month - October - and is ready for a home of her own. She tested negative for FIV/Leuk.,was given her kitten shots, flea meds and wormed. Dudette is so unusually marked, as you can see. She has quite a mixture of black and white with a pretty black mark on her nose and a white mark on her black hip! If you are interested in Dudette, please respond and we will be happy to send an application or make arrangements for meeting her. Thank you for your interest in a truly rescued pet!!
