Story
Meet this LOVLEY gal named Summer Squash! She came in as a stray April 14, 2023 and was never reclaimed so she’s patiently awaiting her adoption day. She came in very scared and unsure of shelter life. She has to have time to “settle in” and adjust while feeling loved and secure. A calm loving home would be ideal for her. She is 4 years old, current on shots, now spayed, and ready for her adoption day to come. She has the softest coat of fur and loves for you to rub on her once she’s comfortable with you. Stop by for a visit with Summer Squash today and give her the patience, love, and FOREVER she deserves. Starting her in a smaller area and gradually opening up area would be ideal for her as well as any more timid/shy/scared kitty,

Story
Meet this BEAUTIFUL girlie named Lina! She came in May 22, 2023 and when her owner had too many animals and could no longer keep her so she’s awaiting her “adoption day”! She came in super scared and unsure of shelter life but is sweet just needs time to acclimate and feel secure and loved. Can’t blame her since there is nothing familiar to her. Very common. Once in a home starting in a smaller area and gradually opening up area to her will make a smoother transition. With love, patience, and time to settle in I think her sweetness will shine brighter and brighter with time. Lina is 4 years 6 months old, current on shots, already spayed, and deserves a wonderful loving home and family or person she can call her own. Maybe you have the most perfect laid back home for this sweetie?! Visit with Lina today and give her back the homelife she’s missing!

Story
Meet this cutie named Arya! She and her siblings came in July 11, 2023 and are keeping their paws crossed that it’s not too much longer before they are adopted into their FOREVER home. They are 4 months old (late September), current on shots, and full of happiness and love to share. Just need someone or a family to give them a chance at a fabulous life that they so deserve! Please know that kittens do great in pairs (always a friend to play with when family is away), toys toys toys the more the merrier, and cats love to climb. Climbing post are wonderful to have around. Also keeping their nails trimmed every 3 weeks will reduced their need to “scratch to file back nails”. Stop by for a visit and give Arya and her siblings a chance at a fabulous life the need! We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption. Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes! Come to the shelter to apply! The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!
