Cassie was adopted from Save-A-Pet Adoption Center, Grayslake IL 60030, Feb. 16, 2028. DOB. Jan. 28, 2017. She lived with us in Grayslake until April 19, 2019 when she moved with us and our American Eskimo, Binca, to Swannanoa NC. She and Binca, mostly have been indifferent to each other. The only other dog she has been in contact with is a large, Labradoodle; they do not get a long. He's our grand dog and Cassie hides whenever he shows up. Generally, Cassie like people. When she meets them she comes to their ankle to sniff them and rub her body. She can be picked up but will not stay on a lap for all but a short period of time. While she doesn't stay a lap for any length of time, she always wants to be in the room where adults are. In the 6 1/2 years we've had her she has never hid from us unless. I don't know how she is with other dogs and cats. Persons with whom we have boarded Cassie have always reported she gets along well with the other. cats.

Little Gomez came to us as a one pound kitten that had a condition known as Pectus Excavatum - the shelter contacted us because most of the time they are euthanized but thankfully they reached out to us as we knew we could fix this little guy. Because he only weighed a pound - we had to wait to surgically correct his condition but honestly you would have never known there was anything wrong with him - he was your typical happy and playful kitten. Once he was a little older and hit the 3 pound mark he was able to have the procedure to correct his condition at a specialist. He came through it great and has been medically cleared and should have no further issues and he is your normal - happy go lucky kitten that just wants to play and sometimes try and steal some human food. He is still on the small side but he is a totally amazing little guy that is hoping to find a family to call his own. He is fostered with 2 other cats and would love to have a companion to play with. He has not been around dogs but with proper introductions, he would adjust and be fine as long as the dog has been around cats before. Gomez has been combo tested (negative) - he is current on vaccines, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $75.00. We do require vet references and a home visit and all of our cats must be indoor cats only. Gomez is going to be a great addition to some very lucky family.

she’s definitely a cat with a personality. she’d be better in a home without any other pets. she likes the spotlight, it’s warm. she’s got a sore on her face and some hair loss that’s from itching because of fleas. i’m moving back home so i just don’t have the means to care for her and honestly i don’t think she’s happy with me anymore. i want her in a home that will love her perching on their shoulder and her dribbles of drools when you love on her. she’s a very good kitty so i hope you can find her a home just as good :)

Meet Finn! Finn is a very handsome siamese cat who loves to birdwatch and climb around on his cat tower and other high surfaces. Finn does well with most cats, but is unfortunately declawed on his front paws, so the other cats must be able to be gentle with him. Due to his declawing, Finn requires special cedar litter. He CANNOT use standard clay litter as it will damage his front paws. Finn is not recommended for a home with dogs due to his inability to scratch or defend himself from them if he feels cornered or anxious. As a Siamese, be aware that Finn does play nibble. Finn is very entertaining and silly and likes to lounge around with his humans.
