Blackie’s person recently passed away unexpectedly. He is 4-5 years old, has never missed a meal, and is extremely quiet. He is extraordinarily affectionate and likes to be close to you. He has been around one dog on a temporary basis and seemed to hold his own. He has been living with another cat (Deuce) and they get along quite well.

Frappe was found as a kitten and lived with her owner, my mother, only for about 5 years. We eventually moved her and my mother in to my house when my mother developed Alzheimer’s. For the past 2 years she has lived in an upstairs bedroom with bathroom. My heart breaks for her and the isolation and loneliness she has had to endure being shut in a small room for so long. Regardless she is a purr box that loves to be held and pet and played with. She deserves to be in a home with free rein and a human that can spend more time with her and give her the attention she deserves.

Lime is the very loveliest of little ladies. She is FeLV positive which means she needs to be adopted as an only cat or with other FeLV+ cats. (Ask us for more information about FeLV.) She needs monitoring by a veterinarian to make sure her health remains good as the years go by. She might be the VERY sweetest cat on the planet and deserves her very own person that will appreciate her amazing and gentle personality and can see through her health issues. Lime comes to us from a rural county shelter and clearly has had a rough life. But she holds no grudges! She needs to find her special person and begin her new life as a treasured family member as she deserves.

I can`t wait to find my forever home where I can feel safe and loved, while also being able to express my fun and playful side! There are certain things I have found I don`t really like, such as being picked up or held. Meet Gwen! She is a sweet girl who came to us with 3 kittens and wasn't initially so sure about how much she should trust humans. While still a bit socially awkward (aren't we all) she has an amazing purr and she makes great tappity biscuits when she is getting pets. She hasn't quite figured out how to play yet but she is talking and love pets. Gwen needs a person that will be patient as she learns her new home and people who will continue to help her to learn to trust. She was a good mom and loved her babies but now it is her turn to be loved and adored and have a family to call her own!
