Story
Frappe was found as a kitten and lived with her owner, my mother, only for about 5 years. For the past 2 years she has lived in an upstairs bedroom with bathroom with little company due to the fact that one of the homeowners is allergic to cats. Her owner has had to move without her and our hearts break for her and the isolation and loneliness she has had to endure being shut in a small room for so long. I am able to spend some time with her at her meal times but only then. Regardless she is a purr box that loves to be held and pet and played with. She deserves to be in a home with free rein and a human that can spend more time with her and give her the attention she deserves. She will make a great companion for a woman looking for only one inside cat.

Story
“Meggie is a sweet and slightly timid older cat who is also very loving and vocal when she is comfortable. She will need a very specific kind of home. Meggie has lived her entire life with one other cat and an elderly woman in a quiet home. She might tolerate another pet, but she wouldn't thrive in house where she was constantly afraid of other pets or in a home that is loud or has rambunctious small children. Her new owner will need to be patient while she acclimates. Once Meggie has a few days to warm up to her new surroundings, she is more vocal and will seek out attention. She prefers to come to you for petting or be brushed where she is resting. She is not used to being picked up/carried, but she tolerates it. She likes to curl up at the bottom of the bed and sleep near you, but is also quite happy in her own little bed. She will make a great roommate!"

Story
Male Scottish Straight which means he is a purebred Scottish Fold without the folding gene (looks like a British Shorthair). Scottish Folds are only allowed one gene for folding, so two folded cats are never bred together. This means that in any given litter, some are folded and some are straight (notable Scottish Folds are Taylor Swift's cats, Meredith and Olivia). I have registration papers for him from the breeder that I have not yet filed so you can register him with TICA with whatever name you choose. He came from a reputable local breeder and is very healthy with a sweet temperament. I got him to be a companion for my other cat who is the same breed, but she is a bit timid and having him here has not helped her. I'm resigned that she prefers to be an only cat and I would love to find him a home where he can be loved and appreciated. He is chipped, spayed, vaccinated, and is really a beautiful boy. Pure white & odd-eyed, one blue one amber. 1 yr & 7 mos old.

Story
Hello all! This is Princey and he came to us with his shy friend, Belle. Princey is a gentle boy looking for his new forever home. As you might can tell, he did come to us with some skin issues possibly related to Flea Allergy Dermatitis; however, with some routine flea & tick medicine and TLC Princey`s fur will begin to grow back fluffy and beautiful before you know it! He has done well with other cats in the past, but as always we recommend slow and monitored introductions between Princey and any other animals/people in the home over a period of time. We also recommend using multiple litter boxes in the home and a nice clumping litter when trying to acclimate new animals. If you have any questions, please ask to speak with staff.

Story
Lime is the very loveliest of little ladies. She is FeLV positive which means she needs to be adopted as an only cat or with other FeLV+ cats. (Ask us for more information about FeLV.) She needs monitoring by a veterinarian to make sure her health remains good as the years go by. She might be the VERY sweetest cat on the planet and deserves her very own person that will appreciate her amazing and gentle personality and can see through her health issues. Lime comes to us from a rural county shelter and clearly has had a rough life. But she holds no grudges! She needs to find her special person and begin her new life as a treasured family member as she deserves.
