Story
Looking for a lively, playful companion who knows how to keep life exciting? Meet Jonathan, a charming 7 month old orange kitty with a goofy streak that will steal your heart (and maybe your snacks). Jonathan is everything you love about orange cats rolled into one bouncy, adventurous ball of fluff! This spunky little guy loves to leap high into the air chasing his favorite toys—his athleticism is unmatched! When he's not perfecting his aerial skills, you’ll find him romping around with his foster siblings, showing off his friendly and social nature. Jonathan even gets along with dogs, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. He’s fully litter-box trained and up to date on vaccinations, so he’s ready to settle right into his forever home. Jonathan also knows the importance of balance: after a busy day of play, he adores soaking up the sun in a cozy window spot. Don’t be fooled by his relaxed moments, though—Jonathan has a mischievous side! He’ll keep you laughing with his surprise “leg attacks” when you least expect it. But Jonathan’s charm doesn’t stop at his playful antics. He’s mastered the art of irresistible eye contact and has been known to talk humans into handing over extra treats with just one look. Whether you’re up for a game or in need of some company, Jonathan is always ready to brighten your day. If you’re seeking a playful, adventurous, and endlessly entertaining companion, Jonathan is your guy. He’s waiting to meet his perfect match—could it be you? Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Dolly, the cat who acts like a dog! She greets you at the door, keeps a kindly protective watch, and prefers to be with her people. Dolly loves to cuddle up for naps and serenades the home with her vocal talents, just like her namesake, Dolly Parton. This grey, brown, and white dilute tortoiseshell one-year-old Domestic Short Hair beauty is a rare find, both in looks and personality. Dolly has an energetic and affectionate nature that makes her stand out. Dolly’s unique personality also means she takes her time warming up to new pets. She prefers exploring, hiding, and seeking out human affection over playing with toys. Dolly enjoys listening to music during car rides, which showcases her sophisticated taste! Dolly appreciates her personal space and knows when she wants attention, making her an independent and considerate companion. She’s currently adjusting well to living with other cats, children, and new people, showing her adaptability and patience. Dolly will flourish in a home where she has the freedom to roam and explore. She can adapt to a quiet home or a lively one with children, as long as she has plenty of space to be herself. If you’re looking for a loving, vocal companion who’s always ready to greet you with enthusiasm, Dolly is your perfect match! * $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Available Oct 9     We really encourage kitten adopters to adopt two kittens when adopting. Cats like buddies. If introducing a younger kitten into a household with older cats the youngster may be too playful for the older cat. Having a younger buddy to wrestle and play with is ideal. We usually also have other kittens in similar age group available for adoption. Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application.                             www.barkdogfarm.org Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring a pet home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the kitten to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for kittens are $250.  $100 for adult cats.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place cats will be determined by our Board of Directors. All cats will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, FIV and FeLK negative, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Our cats are only adopted out AS INDOOR ONLY PETS!!!
