Story
Autumn - Female Spayed DOB 8/26/2022 Domestic Short Hair Black & White Tuxedo - Autumn is a spunky little girl who knows what she wants!  This feisty girl did not have an easy start in life, she was found as an orphan with her chin "degloved", basically all the fur and flesh had been pulled back from her mouth to her neck.  Luckily she was rescued by a wonderful rescue partner and you would have no idea it ever happened by looking at her now.  No one knows what happened to Autumn to cause the severe injury but everyone knows she is a little survivor!  Autumn has been with us for several months and is looking for her forever home. She has a heart murmur, and has been checked by a cardiologist  She is on twice daily atenolol.  Autumn currently exhibits no symptoms or issues and her medication is working to support her heart as needed.  Autumn would like to find her new home.  She has done well with  other kitties, but definitely prefers males to females.  Autumn does do ok with a cat friendly dog!  Respectful children would be ok as well.  Any approved adopter would be required to have a good relationship with their vet and commit to a yearly echo for her. Please apply at www.furrr.orgAll kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY.   Sammy - Male DOB 5/22/2023 Domestic Short Hair Black -  Meet Sammy and Roxie! This inseparable duo may not be biological siblings, but their bond has been undeniable since the moment they met in foster care in North Carolina. They journeyed together to New England, with Sammy providing constant reassurance to Roxie along the way. Sammy, the charmer, dictates his affectionate terms until he gets to know you better. Approach him slowly to earn his adoration; rush it, and he'll vanish in a flash! According to their foster mom, Sammy loves nothing more than starting his day by lounging in bed and receiving all the rubs. Roxie, though initially shy, also enjoys being petted. Together, they love exploring the house and chasing after their toys. With a little patience, you'll be rewarded with enduring love and endless entertainment from this delightful duo. Story
Diamond - Female DOB 1/1/2019 Domestic Short Hair Brown Tabby - Meet Diamond!  Miss Diamond is a southern belle from North Carolina. She found herself living in a rough trailer park, when she was trapped by one of our NC fosters a couple of years ago. Her ear was tipped because she was going to be part of the TNR (trap, neuter, release) project, until the realization by her NC foster that she was sweet enough to take in to help her adapt to domestic life. Diamond grew close to her foster family over 2 years, until Diamond was prepared to find a permanent family of her own. She now charms her favorite volunteers as she eagerly awaits a home of her own. Diamond is playful and affection on her terms. She likes to be pet and scratched behind the ears. She especially loves being picked up, held, and carried around until your arms are too tired, but only by particular people who are patient enough to understand her. She creates deep bonds with her person, relentlessly head bunting and grooming them. She’ll let you know when she’s had enough (or not enough) attention. Diamond has a condition called Stomatitis, which can be a very painful condition, resulting from inflammation of the mouth tissue. The condition is treated by partial or full teeth extraction. Diamond has had a partial mouth extraction performed over two surgeries, which seemed to have mitigated the condition, thought we continue monitoring. Diamond can be a mixture of sweet and spicy. She hates other cats and her sweet temperament quickly changes upon seeing them, which is why she needs to be an only cat in your home. This beautiful girl will do well with someone that wants a kitty that likes attention but that is also fine entertaining herself while you are at work or gone for the day. She is quite confident and could likely be tolerant of a cat friendly dog that isn’t looking for a buddy. Older respectful children would be ok. Diamond has waited a long time for a family and home of her own, if you are interested in this sweet and spicy girl, please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian. Story
Brittany - Female Spayed DOB 3/6/2022 Domestic Short Hair Black/Tan & White Tabby - Meet Brittany! This beautiful tabby girl with the striking green eyes, delicate features and tiny wisps of fur on her ear tips.  She came to us from North Carolina but has called New Hampshire home for a while.  She would be so happy to actually find her FuRRRever home now.  Brittany is an FIP survivor, undergoing weeks of treatment and monitoring and is now among our miracle survivors.  FIP is no longer a death sentence for kitties, and is treatable when caught in its early stages.  "Warioress" is the perfect term for Brittany.  FuRRR has treated a number of cats with success that were diagnosed with FIP. Brittany is the sweetest kitty, she loves butt rubs and then to roll against you and give your head her special "I love you" kitty rub.  She does fine with other kitties, as long as they give her space.  If they don't, they can expect a gentle swat to remind them that she is the Queenbee.  Brittany is playful, she loves her springs and to carry her prize "mouse" around the house.  She will make a great housemate but not a playmate with another cat.  The ideal home would be where she would be an only kitty or with another cat that doesn't need a buddy, no dogs and any children must be older and respectful.  There are several websites to research for more information on FIP and treatments. Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian. Story
Sissy - Female DOB 8/14/2023 Domestic Short Hair Black/Brown Swirl - Meet Sissy! It’s so sweet when cats choose each other! Frankie, with those gorgeous blue eyes, is a sweet lap cat who craves human attention, and when first coming to the rescue wasn't too fond of the other cats, but since he's settled in he's fine being around other cats, especially females. When it comes to his best friend, Sissy, it's a different story—he's utterly devoted to her, even going as far as crying if she's not nearby.  They are truly boyfriend/girlfriend. On their wish list? Frankie requests lots of head scratches and rubs. Plus, a home that finds his ‘talking’ absolutely adorable. He is very playful, and loves to chase wand toys and moving toys like a laser light or remote mouse. Frankie's favorite place to lay? In an empty small cardboard box like the canned fancy feast comes in, or on a flat corregated scratcher.  Nope, he's not fussy lol. Sweet Sissy hopes for a home that will allow her the time she needs to warm up to her humans, plus some toys and tunnels for her to explore once she feels settled.  She has settled in quite a bit over time since being at the rescue, and her favorite place is laying on a cat tree not too far from Frankie, or next to Frankie wherever he is.  When she's laying in a cat tree she is much more approachable for pets than when she may be on the floor.  You will need to approach her slowly to make her feel trusting of you.   Together, they’re looking for a home without the stress of other cats or dogs, or children.  You can always find them laying together, or not too far from each other.  It's so cute... If you're ready to open your heart to this adorable duo, they're eagerly awaiting your visit!
