Story
Nora is a firecracker of a feline and is on the hunt for a home that's as vibrant as her personality! This 1 year old came to the shelter when her and 15 other cats were abandoned in an apartment after their owner was evicted. Nora's playful spirit is contagious--she will have you smiling ear to ear with delight! Due to her living with multiple cats, we think Nora would love to have a playmate in her new home, of the feline variety, so she can turn your living room into her personal playground! Being such a confident gal, Nora will likely adjust to dogs in her home, given some time to settle in and learn the ropes. While her playful side is fun, it can come with some overstimulation, so older children may be best for this furry friend! If you're looking for a kitty to keep you on your toes, come meet Nora! Every day is sure to be an adventure with Nora around! Open Hours: Wed-Sat 12-4 Applications are recommended prior to visiting, but not required. We are not always able to facilitate same day adoptions, unless there is a preapproved application on file. *Due to strict MA transport laws, we are unable to adopt to MA residents. Adoption Fee: $125

Story
If your destiny is to adopt a sweet, loving, social, playful kitty we have the cat for you!! Destiny is 2 years old and made the long trip from GA with her little babies. They have all found homes and now she is looking for her fairytale ending. Destiny adores people and will make a wonderful family pet. She took some time to adjust to having a bunch of cats around her, but now she is good with them and even kind to any new kitties. Destiny is amazing and once you meet her you will agree!! Adoption fee-$125 Due to the strict animal import laws in MA, we cannot adopt to MA residents. We are open Wed-Sat from noon to 4 for walk-ins. You can go to our website spfldhumane.org and fill out an application to get preapproved so you can adopt same day. If you have a vet you will need to contact them to give them permission to speak to us.

Story
If you’re a fan of Kelly Clarkson and cats we have the PURRfect kitty waiting for you!!! Kelly Clarkson came in with her 2 babies and was a great mom. She is very loving, a bit of a talker, but not as much as her name sake! She is a sweetheart that has lived with several cats and dogs. She has been great with all the cats here, but was adopted and returned as she was a little rough with their dog. Could be she needs more time to settle into a home. She’s great with all people and will make a wonderful family pet. At 4 years old she is more mellow than a kitten but still fun and playful. This kitty is wonderful and once you meet her you’ll agree! Adoption fee-$125 Due to the strict animal import laws in MA, we can not adopt to MA residents. We are open Wednesday thru Saturday from noon to 4 for walk-ins. To get preapproved to adopt same day go to our website spfldhumane.org and fill out an application. If you have a vet for current or past animals you’ll need to contact them to permit them to speak to us so we can process it.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Available Oct 9. This little lover boy is a friendly little love bug     We really encourage kitten adopters to adopt two kittens when adopting. Cats like buddies. If introducing a younger kitten into a household with older cats the youngster may be too playful for the older cat. Having a younger buddy to wrestle and play with is ideal. We usually also have other kittens in similar age group available for adoption. Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application which is located on the left column under "forms & applications" :                            https://barkdogfarm.rescuegroups.org/forms Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring a pet home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the kitten to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for kittens are $250.  $100 for adult cats.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place cats will be determined by our Board of Directors. All cats will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, FIV and FeLK negative, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Our cats are only adopted out AS INDOOR ONLY PETS!!!
