Story

Three words that describe Dani are loving, sensitive, and resilient. When we found Dani a rain storm had just passed over us and while driving we saw a little taped up cardboard box under an overpass labeled “kittens”. Upon opening the box we found a mama cat along with her 6 kittens lifeless and the box drenched from the surrounding puddle. One of the kittens was a still warm, so we gave tiny CPR a shot and the rest is history. Today she behaves like a normal happy cat, but with severe anxiety and a deep fear of water. She loves snuggles, playing with string, and her sister Meow-Meow. During storms or hard days, Dani goes to Meow for comfort through grooming and long snuggle sessions. For this reason, the two are a deeply bonded pair and cannot be separated. They are a package deal and will need to remain together. Story

Meow’s story is similar to Dani’s. She was rescued out of an abandoned truck at roughly 4 weeks old. Both her and Dani were bottle fed and have only ever known a cushy indoor house cat life. Aside from this the two are polar opposites though. The one thing Meow loves more than food is personal space, with Dani being a close second. She’s a true cuddle bug and will regularly seek attention as soon as you earn her trust. She loves to be loved on her terms though and is an independent queen who knows how to speak up for her boundaries. She’s comfortable and capable living in a home with other cats and dogs, but will not go out of her way to make friends. Dani is featured in another post here as well, and the two are deeply bonded. Dani is a sensitive bean with anxiety and pinch of trauma. They will need to remain together.
