Story

Tato is about 4 years old, and he is current on all his shots. He is a very sweet boy, but he just doesn't get along with my other cat and would be much happier as the only pet in the household. I've had him for about two years, and I tried to give them time to get used to each other, but he hisses and swats at my other cat daily. He's been peeing outside of the litter box, as well, which I don't think he would do if he was happier with his living situation. I keep the litter clean and I have several boxes, so I think he's just unhappy. The vet put him on Prozac, and I have a calming collar for him, but he continues to hiss and pee outside the litter box. He was slow to warm up to me, but once he gets acquainted, he is very affectionate. He loves to sit on your lap or cuddle up to your side when you're laying down. He is playful and enjoys his toys, which I will include with his adoption. I really want to find him a good home where he’ll be happier!

Story

Slinky is the sweetest boy, but needs to be the only cat in the home. While he currently lives with another cat, he tends to be a “Napoleon” cat and gets defensive with others. In January 2025, Slinky had a stroke in his back legs. He has regained most of his mobility but struggles to jump onto high surfaces and bury his litter box visits. The more significant impact on him was a huge spike in anxiety/stress that he takes daily medication for. He will occasionally lash out towards myself and my other cat, but the vet believes this will cease if he is the only cat and if his home has more space. Slinky loves to curl up and sleep with you just as much as he loves to play with his teaser wands! He’s a huge fan of feathers, ribbons, wall scratchers, treat puzzles, and micro doses of ice cream 😂
