Chester is a quiet, sensitive boy who's been learning that the world — and the people in it — aren’t so scary after all. He’s what we lovingly call a “cat’s cat” — he finds comfort and confidence in the company of other feline friends, and would thrive in a calm home with at least one other friendly cat. Chester is very shy at first and takes time to build trust with humans. But with gentle patience, a quiet environment, and a soft approach, he’ll start to come out of his shell — and when he does, you’ll see a truly special cat emerge. He’s grown to enjoy affection, even seeking it out once he feels safe. Curling up beside you, soaking in gentle pets, and especially belly rubs are some of his favorite ways to show his trust. Chester will need a slow introduction to his new home, with gradual changes and time to adjust at his own pace. Loud noises and fast movements can still startle him, so a calm, understanding adopter is a must. Castor is a sweet and playful boy who loves being around people and other cats. He’s always ready for a game, enjoys gentle play biting, and soaks up every bit of affection he can get. This loving kitty will happily keep you entertained with his energy. When Castor was a tiny kitten, he battled an illness that left him with watery eyes. While his eyes may always look a little teary, it doesn’t slow him down one bit, and most importantly, it isn’t contagious. He’s a happy, healthy, affectionate cat who just happens to have a unique feature that makes him extra special. Castor is a true cat’s cat. He is a gentle soul who prefers friendships on his own terms. He enjoys pets but politely declines being picked up. He’ll pop by for a little visit when the mood strikes and then scamper off once his social battery is recharged. Castor thrives in our Community Room with 15+ feline friends and is wonderfully social with other cats. He would be the perfect companion for a resident kitty who’s looking for a calm, respectful BFF. Vesper came to us with her siblings and while they’ve all found their forever homes, Vesper has been patiently waiting. She’s what we lovingly call a “cat’s cat.” While she’s comfortable with the occasional human touch, Vesper truly thrives in the company of other cats. Currently, she lives in our community room alongside 15–20 cats and gets along beautifully with every personality, proof of her easygoing and social nature with feline friends. Vesper would be happiest in a home with a friendly resident cat where she can relax, coexist, and form a true BFF bond. Just shy of 2 years old, Vesper is calm, well-adjusted, and ready for a forever home that understands and appreciates her  quiet, companionable spirit.
