Story
Meet Talulah! I started off being a really scared kitten all alone on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. Then, I was a little shy when I was at the shelter and no one wanted me, so they were going to put me to sleep. Luckily, a good Samaritan decided to give me a second chance to live the life that I deserve! In my foster home, I quickly started to trust humans. Playing is my FAVORITE! I love strings, catnip mice, wrestling and playing chase with my foster sister, Ruby. I love to purr loudly when my foster mom cuddles me, and also love to take naps with her! I even help her study sometimes. Since I’m a tortie, I have a reputation for having a ‘tude. It’s the most fun-loving and cuddly attitude around! *We would prefer Talulah is adopted with her sister Ruby* More information and photos added over time. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/adopt/forms/ FOSTER CARE: Our rescues are fostered in individual homes or at our facility. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before a dog is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the animals journey to their forever home.

I like to do this when I eat too.I love treats! I also love laying in the sun and looking out the window. Minnesota is a lot different than the Caribbean! I love it; it’s my new home! My foster mom says my beautiful calico coat is stunning! *We would prefer Ruby be adopted with her sister Talulah* More information and photos added over time. Story
Meet Castor! Castor is an approximately 1.5-year-old male cat who's playful, social, and enjoys daily interactive playtime. This handsome boy loves being around people and lets you know when he’s ready for affection—though it’s always on his terms. Castor is best suited for a home with older children who can respect his boundaries. While he enjoys being close by, Castor is not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be held. He might hop up next to you like he’s considering it but usually decides to stand or sit nearby instead. He’s happy to share a bed, but don’t expect cuddles—he values his personal space. Castor is a smart and communicative kitty, often “talking” when he needs something like food or sees something interesting (like a mouse!). He’s very clean, with excellent litter box habits and minimal trouble-making tendencies. Castor isn’t a plant chewer and hasn’t knocked things over. We’re unsure how he feels about other animals, but with a bit of patience and a slow introduction, he could adapt well. Castor would love a home where he can get the playtime and attention he craves, while also having the freedom to take his own space when he needs it. If you're looking for a fun, independent, and curious companion, Castor might be the perfect fit for you! More information and photos added over time. Story
Are you ready for a new best furry friend? Look no further! Phoenix's birthday is April 22nd, 2018. He is 5 years old. He is a very friendly cat once he gets to know you, he's shy of unknown people at first. He was adopted from Saint Francis. He is great with kids, let's them pet him, hold him, snuggles with them. If he does want his space he will move away from them. He likes to play with dogs as well, we've dog sat and they play. We don't know if he gets along with cats. He likes to play with cat toys, snuggle, and overall is a great cat. He's been eating wet food.We have 3 young children and he's just not getting the time and attention he needs. We can make sure he's up to date on everything before adoption, we are pretty sure he is but will double check! He is not declawed because the adoption place did want want their cats declawed. I cut his nails every 2 weeks, it's very easy and he's used to it.
