Story
Meet Jive! 🐾 Jive is a bold, playful, and super sweet brown short-haired boy who loves to be in the middle of the action. He’s got a ton of energy and a big personality to match — if there’s a feather wand or a tunnel around, he’s in it. When he’s not zooming through playtime, you’ll find him lounging by the window or basking in a cozy warm spot near the heat. This chatty guy isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts — he’ll vocalize when he wants attention or just feels like adding commentary to the day. Jive enjoys affection, but on his own terms (classic cat confidence). He’s fully litter trained, loves a good cat tree climb, and thrives with regular play sessions to help him burn off energy — especially since he can get a little talkative at night if he’s bored. Jive would prefer to be the only cat in the home, though he might do okay with the right calm companion. He hasn’t met dogs or kids in rescue, but would likely be fine with gentle introductions. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, expressive cat with a zest for life and a soft spot for cuddles and playtime, Jive’s your guy! 💛 Currently fostered with: Snuggles. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking “Apply for Adoption”. Story
Meet Geri! Geri is a delightful one-of-a-kind calico with a mix of playful energy and calm charm. She’s curious and loves exploring every corner of her space, chasing toys, batting shiny objects, and soaking up sunbeams by the windows. Whether she’s playfully rolling around with a ball or lounging on the couch, Geri is a joy to watch. She enjoys cuddles on her own terms and is happy to be picked up, but doesn’t require constant attention—perfect for someone who wants a companion who’s affectionate yet independent. Geri has a quirky side too: she’s a little scared of moving alpaca slippers, possibly thinking the stuffed animals are real! Geri has not met other cats, dogs, or children, so introductions would need to be slow and patient. She’s fully litter trained, loves couches and beds, and her mix of active and chill moments makes her adaptable to many household types. She does have a minor allergy/asthma issue, but it’s manageable and hasn’t slowed her down—she’s still her playful, loving self. Geri would thrive in a home that can give her gentle attention, toys to explore, and plenty of sunny spots for relaxing. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, curious, and talkative companion who can keep you entertained and melt your heart, Geri might be your perfect match! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Harley is a spirited young tabby with a big personality and energy to spare! This playful girl never seems to run out of steam and is famous for her daily zoomies. Whether she’s racing around the room or leaping after a feather wand toy, Harley brings fun and excitement wherever she goes. Feather toys and scratching posts are some of her favorites, and when playtime is over you’ll often find her perched proudly on top of her cat tree, keeping watch over her kingdom. Despite her bold and energetic nature, Harley also has a sweet and affectionate side. When she’s in the mood for attention, she’ll make sure you know it and happily cuddle up beside you. She’s comfortable being picked up but generally prefers affection on her own terms. Harley gets along great with other cats and would thrive in a home with another young, playful feline companion, though she could also do well as a solo cat with plenty of playtime. She hasn’t met dogs or children in rescue yet, but her confident personality suggests she would likely adjust well. Fully litter trained and full of life, Harley would make a joyful addition to a loving home. If possible, she’d especially love to be adopted along with her friend Harper! 🐾 Harley is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Pop Secret, a lovely young calico with soft patches of color and the cutest dainty white socks. This sweet girl is curious, affectionate, and wonderfully sociable once she settles in. Pop Secret enjoys the simple pleasures in life—watching birds flutter past the window, soaking up cozy warmth by a heat vent, and leaning in for gentle chin scratches. She often follows her favorite people from room to room like a little shadow, always wanting to be nearby. While she may be a bit shy at first with new people, it doesn’t take long for her friendly, loving personality to shine through. This easygoing girl has previously lived with dogs, other cats, and kids, so she’s comfortable in a variety of home environments. Pop Secret is adaptable and would likely be happy as the only cat in the home or sharing space with other friendly pets. She gets along especially well with Orville Redenbacher, and the two could make a wonderful pair if adopted together. However, Pop Secret would also do just fine finding her own special place to call home. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a sweet personality, Pop Secret may be the perfect match. 🐾 Pop Secret is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Orville Redenbacher, a handsome gray domestic medium-hair with silky-soft fur, a powerful purr, and a heart full of love. This sweet boy has a special feature—extra toes! Orville is polydactyl, a trait once prized by sailors who believed these lucky cats brought good fortune on their voyages. Orville may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for his affectionate personality to shine through. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll happily roll over for belly rubs and soak up all the pets he can get. With his soft fur and gentle nature, he’s truly a teddy bear of a cat. He also has a playful side and enjoys spending time with feline friends. Orville has previously lived with dogs, cats, and kids, and his easygoing personality helps him adapt well to a variety of homes. He would especially love to have another young, playful cat around for companionship and fun. Orville gets along well with his friend Pop Secret, and they could make a wonderful pair. However, he could also be adopted separately into a home with another friendly cat. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly companion with a little extra luck built in, Orville Redenbacher might be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾 Orville Redenbacher is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
Wedge is an adorable short-haired gray kitten with a big personality and an even bigger voice! This sweet, playful girl is very chatty and loves to “talk” with her people. When she’s having the time of her life playing, you’ll hear her little chirps and meeps as she zooms around the house. And when she hears a can open at mealtime, she comes running to happily announce just how excited she is! Wedge also has a wonderfully loud purr, so you’ll always know when she’s feeling happy and content. Wedge loves spending time with her humans and enjoys snuggling up close after a fun play session. Her favorite activities include racing down the hallway chasing springs and balls, and watching birds from a sunny window for hours. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or in big groups, but with patience, playtime, and maybe a few treats, her sweet personality shines through. Wedge has met other cats before and, after a short adjustment period, would likely enjoy having a playful feline friend who can match her energy. Dogs are still a mystery to her. This affectionate, talkative girl can’t wait to find a loving forever home! 🐾💗 Wedge is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.
