Story
This is Luna. A lady in a nearby city needed to rehome her due to living conditions, but didn’t want to pay to forfeit her to a humane society. We offered to foster Luna and if she was a good fit in our home, consider keeping her. Unfortunately, we already have four other cats, two dogs and three young children. Luna came from a home where the other cats were violent with her, so she is relatively tolerant but very avoidant of other cats. She is friendly with humans, however, and prefers to be inside. She does seek attention and cuddles as well. We believe she’d do best in a household where she is the only cat, as she tolerates dogs well, but the most ideal home would probably be where she is the only pet and can have a more attentive owner. Our environment is too overstimulating for her. Previous owner claimed she is approximately 3yo and has never seen vet or been spayed. Overall, Luna seems healthy thus far, just timid. No fee b/c we haven’t had her long & have not taken to vet.

Story
Hello, My name is Purrscilla. I was brought into rescue two years ago & been in my foster ever since. I was semi feral when I first came into rescue. Will a lot of time, patience & consistency I have blossomed with my other cat friends. I have now allowed petting & seek out attention from my foster mom for many months now. She feels in the right home I can continue to be brave & seek out attention. I hope you choose to help me be the best kitty I can be. I can't wait for you to visit me in my foster home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Fern. I was brought to SFAAR at a few weeks old. When I went into get spayed at 3 months old I was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur and in heart failure. I love all the cats & people that visit. I play and eat like a normal kitty. While my time hear may be short I just celebrated two years in rescue. I was recently spayed & updated on my vaccines. My condition at this time is being controlled with heart meds but we don't know how much longer that could be. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy every second I have & live it to the fullest. If you have experience in having had a cat with a heart condition we will consider adopting her into the right home that will continue her medication and help her keep her quality of life comfortable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Ziah. I was brought to the vet for possible euthanasia as I was losing weight & my owner was no longer able to provide for me. I was diagnosed with diabetes & transferred to SFAAR so I could get the care that I needed. I'm well regulated on insulin and special diet. I am a sweet girl that has a lot to say. I'm not shy about calling the shots & wanting to rule the world one day. I am friendly, outgoing girl that is okay on my own or with my sister. I have a lot of give & can't wait for a second chance at my forever home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Monarch. My sister & I were returned recently, for being, well a kitten. We were a bit too rambunctious & getting on things we shouldn't. I am friendly & playful girl. I can be a bit reserved at first. Once I know you I enjoy attention like most kittens. I can't wait to find a home of my very own. Preferably with a kitty or dog friend I can play with.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:18 pm
