Mabel has revealed a nurturing, motherly side to her personality. She would snuggle scared new kitties and help them become confident. Update 2: Mabel went to a foster home to see if she likes house - living (and maybe a little heart-stealing as well). Renee is an adult spayed female cat, age unknown, but probably at least 1 yr old She is part of a trio with Dinah and Kelly. They are not biological sisters but are living together in a foster home. They are so busy and into everything that their foster dad refers to them as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather (like the Disney fairies). Renee is "Merryweather". Renee (Merryweather), the little sister, is an adventurous black cat who would love a home with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. There's a big exciting world out there, and she can't wait to be in it. She moved into the shelter and did great, but then she had some tummy issues and is back in foster care to remove any stress and so we can make sure she only get her special food - not everyone else's!November 3, 2024, 4:36 pm

Moonie is a spayed female cat, probably born late 2019. Moonie has been in a foster home for several months, getting used to people and recovering from a respiratory infection. She has discovered that humans are a good thing. While she remains independent and a touch spicy with strangers, once she trusts you, she turns into a total love bug. Her respiratory illness cleared and she has remained healthy for several months. She's a stunning, floofy girl who gets along well with friendly cats and dogs and she loves to have her beautiful coat brushed. She enjoys her toys, cat tree, and looking out the window. She was very matted when she arrived at the pound, so they shaved her - right now, she's very velvety and soft, but eventually she will grow and glamorous muted tortioseshell coat and be a stunning beauty. JoJo is an adult, neutered male cat, probably born June 2014. He was adopted in 2017, but his guardian has passed away so he recently returned to us. He is a gentle, timid little soul, very kind and tender-hearted and he desperately wants to find a family of his own. He's got a soft, plushy coat that feels like silk. We could pet him forever - and he might just let us. When he relaxes, he's got a soft, subsonic purr that radiates pure happiness and peace. He has had experiences with other cats, and it really isn't for him: he's tolerating a colony room well, but would prefer to be an only cat at this point...and he will need a loving and patient adopter who can give him time and support as he decompresses.
