Story
Shadow was originally found alone on the streets as a kitten and brought to a county shelter. She was subsequently adopted as a gift for an elderly woman who had recently lost her cat. Unfortunately, the woman was moved to memory care where she was not allowed to have pets. Our daughter, knowing of the situation, approached us and asked if we’d be willing to take the kitty. We agreed and have had her with us for approximately five years. At this time we are looking for another loving home due to the stressors of my husband’s struggle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Shadow will often settle herself on my husband’s lap, or curl up next to one of us as we are sleeping. Being a typical cat she does this (and most things) at her own discretion. She can be playful, curious and entertaining, as well as shy and self protective with new people. She has lived in a home with a small dog, but not with children. She tolerates our grandchildren when they visit, but prefers to maintain her distance.

Story
Hi! My name is Happy Blanche, and I'm a 10-year-old black and white diva with a unique charm and plenty of love to give. I have a neurological condition that makes me partially blind and keeps me grounde-no jumping for me-but it doesn't stop me from enjoying life and being a wonderful companion. I take daily medication to feel my best and occasionally need a little help with grooming and baths, which is a great opportunity for bonding.I'm a little reserved at first and take my time adjusting to new spaces and sounds, but once I feel at home, my personality shines. I've lived with dogs before, and as long as they respect my space, we get along just fine. I'm great at using the litter box most of the time, especially when it's a flat pan, and I always appreciate a little help with keeping my paws clean, finding my food bowl, or navigating back to my cozy blue hut.I'm a sweet and affectionate kitty who loves spending time with my humans. Walking between your feet is my favorite game, and I enjoy playing with my toys and curling up nearby to relax. With my unique charm and loving nature, I'm ready to be your loyal companion and bring joy to your life for many years to come! Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

Story
Meet Neville, a charming feline eager to find his forever home. This playful kitty possesses remarkable athleticism and an insatiable curiosity. Playing is his true passion, and he fearlessly explores anywhere and at any heights, executing daring attacks, occasionally even hanging upside down to capture that elusive toy. After a rigorous round of play, Neville wants to cuddle on your lap and welcome copious amounts of petting. Until he notices a toy and then he is off again! Neville is a silly boy and he will occasionally emit a playful growl at invisible foes and sometimes before attacking his meal. While he is fearless around imaginary adversaries, he may be frightened by loud noises. This independent guy likes to get his way and may give warning nibbles to indicate his preferences or to grab your attention for a playful interaction. If you do not take his hint, then he may attempt a bite to fully grab your attention. Due to this tendency, Neville may not be the best fit for younger children. Neville's attention can be redirected during these times and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. A stable and predictable environment where Neville is the only pampered pet will enable him to thrive. Neville wants you to visit him! Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

Story
Milton Allegro is an incredibly sweet boy who loves making biscuits, chasing toys, and snuggling up. When he's not busy doing one of these things, he can usually be found lounging on the window canopy watching birds.Milton loves hunting and stalking his prey (colorful balls or dry kibble) and will take his time, waiting for the right moment to strike! Playtime and after eating is when he has the most energy. When he gets the zoomies, he'll dive through tubes and launch himself across the room. His favorite toys are ribbon and feather wands and will usually play until his foster mom gets too tired. Milton's a very curious boy who wants to explore and especially loves high places where he can get a good view. When he's had enough pets or needs space, he may communicate by licking or gently putting his teeth on the skin.Milton is very welcoming and loves meeting new people. He shows affection immediately but will love you even more if you have a treat. He is food-motivated, which has been helpful in clicker training! Milton responds very well to his name and other commands!Milton has not messed with any houseplants or knocked over any knick-knacks. He would prefer to be an only pet.If you're looking for a goofy lap cat who loves to play, chat, and snuggle, Mr. Milton is right for you! Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

Story
Meowdy! I'm Rocky, short for Rockhopper Penguin. I was named that because both of us animals have some truly impressive ear hair. Also, I had a bit of a 'rocky' start getting to you, but I'm thriving now thanks to Feline Rescue. I am two years old, neutered, and FeLV+....this means I would have be your only cat child (more attention for me!) My fur coat is very soft but you need to commit your undying love for me before I let you anywhere near my belly. I've got lots of plans for my daily routine and only one of those plans involves getting a few head pats from you... I ain't no lap cat. My favorite foods are ...all of them, especially sniffing tasty human food. Fun fact, I am able to sit on command! Just sign the word SIT in ASL (or say it aloud) and I'll put my booty down and wait for my tasty reward. I'm really looking forward to being able to see more sunsets and birds from YOUR window because there is so much to explore and imagine. Anyway, I see a toy mouse that is suspiciously still... it'll never see me coming.Since he is positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), Rocky can only cohabitate with FeLV+ cats, dogs, or other non-feline animals. FeLV is species-specific and only contagious to cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. He must always remain an indoor kitty and needs to be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet. For this reason, his adoption fee is waived. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!
