Story
Smokey is 2 years old. He is VERY energetic!! We purchased him from a family who were selling their litter. Smokey is a sweet and loving cat who loves to be near his human(s). He is extremely intelligent and can become bored & get into things if he's left alone for long periods of time. He will do best in a home where he can receive a lot of attention, with someone who is not as busy as we are. We are hoping to find him a new home that will be better suited for his needs.

Story
Max was born in 2014 and has lived with me since. He has been a really great cat to have, but has become difficult since I started a family. Max is the kind of cat who acts more like a dog than a cat in which he lives for attention. He loves to cuddle, follows you everywhere and will be at the door when you come home. Max would be perfect for you if you have kids who are a bit older and will smother him with attention, or if you yourself will give him a lot of attention. I never thought i’d need to rehome him but with two children under 2 I feel like I am neglecting his needs because he needs so much love and attention to be happy. We have another cat who is also 10 years old who Max is super attached to (they spend their days napping together) she is also an extremely sweet cat but very very shy (opposite personality of max) If your interested in taking both I can tell you more about Lucy & i’d give you all their things (cat tree, litter boxes, automatic feeder, toys etc).

Story
Reintroducing SIMBA! This stunning nine year old boy is 99% lover and 1% cranky neighbor who doesn’t want any fellow cats playing in his “yard.” Simba came to us over a year ago after being rescued from euthanasia. He was overweight, diabetic, matted, had skin and nail infections, diabetic neuropathy, and was in desperate need of a dental. After shaving off some pounds, treating his infections, a dental visit, and some loving attention, Simba has been restored to his former glorious self and is now ready for a long-term foster home as his current foster is relocating to another state.   Simba loves being brushed head to toe, chin rubs, and attention of any kind. He responds by drooling in joy and with a roaring purr. Belly rubs? No problem here – he’ll happily present his belly (and everything else) for an extended tummy tickle or a four paw nail trim. Talk about easy – if we didn’t know any better…we’d think he had professional groomer experience. He is adorably wobbly (uncertain of cause but could be residual diabetic neuropathy) so we have added a supplement to his food to try and boost his strength. To date, his weakened back end has gotten no better or worse and does not impede his “zoomies” after a good litter box visit! Another fun fact about wobbly cats? It means Simba is the polar opposite of a counter jumper! As a matter of fact, if he needs to get on anything higher than a couch...pet stairs do the trick. He will want a set by your bed as his favorite place to sleep is with you. Simba has been in diabetic remission for over a year and has not been on any insulin. We hope to keep him that way by controlling his diet and occasional glucose monitoring.   He comes with a lifetime commitment of litter, food, meds, and all the vet care needed for the rest of life. What he needs is a soft, loving place to fall, and a pet parent who will be patient getting him settled into new surroundings. His ideal home would be a quieter one. Maybe with someone who works from home (or no longer works) who has no other pets. He’s been waiting a long time for the right home and we are committed to providing everything a new foster needs. All you need to add is love (and twice a day feedings).   Who wants to meet this boy and discuss adding him to your family? LET'S MEET! Please email s.o.s.representative@gmail.com for an application to be Simba's long-term foster. Simba is available for meet and greets with pre-approved applicants!   ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out. All applicants must meet our adoptable cats in person. We do not ship any of our animals to adopters. Thank you and please contact us with any questions. November 5, 2024, 4:07 pm

Story
Meet Lily: A Survivor with a Heart of Gold Lily is a stunning senior kitty with a story that will melt your heart. Rescued from the brink of euthanasia, she’s proven herself to be a fighter and is now embracing her second chance at life with grace and resilience. While Lily has a sensitive stomach that’s managed with a special diet and receives monthly injections to keep her arthritic hips comfortable, she doesn’t let these little hurdles slow her down. She’s thriving and ready to find her forever home. Lily’s personality is as unique as her journey. She’s a spirited and independent soul who values her personal space but still has so much love to give. She’s best suited to a calm, patient home with older children or adults who understand her occasional moodiness and respect her boundaries. She’s fine sharing her space with other pets who know the art of coexistence and don’t crowd her. For those who appreciate a cat with a little sass and a lot of heart, Lily is a one-of-a-kind companion. She’ll reward your understanding and care with her quiet affection and the unmistakable warmth of knowing you’ve given a special girl the home she deserves. Could you be the one to make Lily’s golden years truly golden? ##2010924##

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  Meet Coconut - “Put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em both up.” Hey there, future family! I’m Coconut! Breed: Domestic Short Hair / ManxWeight: 12 pounds of pure awesomenessAge: 6-1/2 years young A Bit About Me:I’m the coolest cat in town, with a personality that’ll make you think you’ve adopted a dog! I’m playful, affectionate, and super interactive. You won’t find me lounging on your lap, but I’ll be right by your side, rubbing against your leg and demanding those sweet head and butt scratches. My curiosity knows no bounds, and while I might be a bit cautious in a new place, give me some time, and I’ll settle right in and steal your heart! Who Do I Get Along With? Kids: Little humans stress me out a bit, so I prefer a more peaceful home. Dogs: If they leave me alone, I’m cool with them. Cats: I’m a fan of confident, outgoing lady cats. Some male cats? Not so much. Honestly, I’m more than enough cat to be your one and only! Health Stuff:I’ve got FIV+ (Feline immunodeficiency virus), which means my immune system isn’t as strong as other cats. But don’t worry! With some extra care to avoid infections, I can live a long, healthy life. Just keep an eye on my dental health and make sure my food is clean, and we’ll be golden! A Few More Things:New places can make me a bit jittery at first. Give me some time to get used to my new digs, and you’ll see just how loving and loyal I can be. I’m vocal, full of personality, and ready to be your best buddy! All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Story
Hi My name is Violet and I am a loving sassy girl who has stunning green eyes! I have quiet the personality and love to be by my people but I also enjoy my alone time. I have no problem climbing into your lap to get the love and attention I need but I am also very independent, curious, and playful. I have been told that my fur is as soft as a cloud and I take pride in maintaining it. I have a foster sibling at my home now and we have become fast friends. I do not require another feline friend however I think I would like to have one to play with. We love to wrestle and play and my foster mom says it brings smiles to everyones faces! There is this other four legged animal in the home called a dog and we coexist just fine. I am looking for a family that can keep up with my spunky attitude and playful demeanor. If this sounds like your home fill out an app and lets meet!  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form.
