Story
Absolutely wonderful cat. She loves to sit up on your shoulders and find various hiding placing in your home. Very talkative, loves to chat. Very skilled spider hunter, haven't seen one in my house since we got her. She's 3 years old this year, and still just a bit bigger than when we got her as a kitten. Super cuddly, will come up and sit in your lap for hours. She has this really weird thing, she likes her back pat gently, near the base of her tail. She goes crazy for it and when you pull your hand away, she'll meow and pull your hand back toward her. I trim her nails at home, she is very calm. Tolerates with other cats, can be a little mean to other cats and sometimes she does get a little jealous if they're getting all the attention. Doesn't mind my 2 big dogs at all, unless they're annoying her, in which she usually just hisses and runs away. Her favorite kind of toys are ones that allow her to hunt. We have a few hunting toys that we will give with her, She loves them.

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Ares and I am the most handsome, black-and-white, neutered male cat. This is my best friend Athena and she is a beautiful, spayed female, tabby cat. We have never been apart. We do absolutely everything together and we hope to find a home where we get to stay best friends for life. Besides, cats are always better in pairs. I am super playful. I love interactive toys that move and have lights. I have crazy fun with them and I will entertain you with my silly antics. Athena is very confident. She uses vertical scratching posts while I use horizontal ones. Athena prefers to be a lapcat, soaking up the warmth and cuddles. We are both friendly, affectionate, playful and litter box trained. Apply today and prepare to bring home two bundles of love to make your family complete for the holidays. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. Adoption and Foster Care ApplicationComplete this form and a volunteer will contact you to answer questions and to schedule a meet-n-greet. Shop our Amazon Wish List to gift us supplies we need and have them shipped directly to us.. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

Story
Milton is 10 years old, I adopted him when he was 1, I have been the only home for him. He is the sweetest boy and wants nothing but love. He is shy at first but once he knows you he opens up and will be by your side. The ideal home for him would be someone that does not have a lot of visitors or loud noises. He wants nothing to do with the outdoors, so he will not try and run out. He faithfully uses the litter box. This is hard for me to let him go, but he deserves better than what I can give him now that I have moved. He is on a prescription diet due to sneezing, Hills ZD, and the food has helped. I am willing to put the food on a regular delivery at my expense. He has recently been checked out at the vet extensively and vaccinated, no front paw claws. I will answer any questions you may have with honesty, I only want him to have the good loving life he deserves.

Story
I’m heartbroken to write this post, but my wife and I are looking to rehome our beloved cats, Theo and Olive, due to changes in our family life. We adopted them as kittens in mid-2020 after they were strays, and they’ve been lights in our lives ever since. They are biological half-siblings and have been inseparable. Theo (male, long-haired, dark brown/black/white paws) is a friendly recluse. He loves playing with Olive and enjoys quiet time with his people, though he tends to hide when strangers visit. His favorite toys are a laser light and a mouse on a string. He sometimes scratches the couch, but a scratching post and regular nail trims keep it in check. Olive (female, medium-haired, orange/white/black) is an outgoing, playful sweetheart. She greets us with joy and loves cuddling, often being held like a baby. She also loves jumping high with her toys. We’d prefer to keep them together, as they are both wonderful companions.
