Story
Alice was 6-8 years old when Sy was introduced as a kitten in 2016. They prefer to sleep all day in a dark, quiet room away from dogs. Alice is a fierce queen that will stand up for herself, while Sy is very cautious and would rather run or hide when there is danger or confrontation. They are not the type to play with each other, but each have their moments of zoomies and love to bat mice around the house. Alice loves sunbathing and laying on a human’s chest in bed or on the couch. She is getting old and hobbly but is still going up and down the stairs to use the litter. Sy LOVES pets and rubs, but doesn’t like being picked up. In bed, she will walk onto you cautiously and quack/ribbit to get your hand’s attention. Can be found loafed on top of a sleeping human regardless of their sleeping position. I am moving around the world in 6 months and unfortunately need to downsize my life. I love these babies to death and they need a good new home.

Story
This is Stanley! He's an eleven year old mixed cat that I adopted from my local Humane Society. He's been a wonderful companion during the time he's been with me. Stanley is very laid back and naps most of the day. I trained him to be outside in my backyard, first using a leash, but now he goes out and stays in my back yard. He likes rubs, especially on his head, and would like to be on a lap or sleep behind your neck while you sit in a chair. I'm moving to a new place and hope Stanley can find a new home soon!

Story
Tony showed up on our doorstep as a stray, sweet as can be and ready for love. He is very affectionate to humans and loves to snuggle. He is litter trained with absolutely no potty or behavioral issues. Tony sleeps through the night like a dream and doesn’t vocalize at night, or much at all. He might be a senior who moonlights as a lap cat, but he still jumps and moves like a kitten—he’s likely to keep on chugging for a long time! Life on the streets has turned this guy into a very polite gentleman who is just grateful for a warm home and companionship.

Story
Uno is a ninja cat. She was born ready to parkour and defies gravity as she jumps from staircase to windowsill and back again, almost so stealthy that her foster mom barely has a chance to catch her in the act. She is a uniquely intelligent cat, not to be outsmarted by people or toys. One morning, her foster mom woke up to discover that Uno had lined up all her favorite cat toys in a single file line overnight. You have to see the photo to believe it - truly a curious thing to see! Just like kryptonite is to Superman, Uno has one weakness that gets her every time - the sound of her can of food being opened. Nothing comes between her and her wet food. Like many ninjas, she prefers a life of solitude while she practices her art, so she would be best as an only cat with no other cats in the home. She has lived successfully with two older small dogs. She is just 2 years old and is fixed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She has great litter box habits. Although she is not declawed, she has conquered a cardboard wavy scratching post and does fine using this scratcher instead of furniture. Want to know more about this powerful warrior cat? Email tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com for more information. *Did you know we offer a foster to adopt option? This means you can try out a cat in your house for two to four weeks before finalizing an adoption. This time allows you to get to know the cat's personality and to make sure it's a good fit. In the meantime, the original foster home remains open and ready to take the cat back if it's not the right match.*
