Betsy (3 year old - female) and Kevin (2 year old - male) were both rescued in 2021 from a foster mom who had her handful with 5 furry friends. This bonded pair are curious in nature but very shy and frighten easily. Betsy will come to you and sit on your lap while Kevin is a bit more cautious with humans. They are extremely playful with one another and often find themselves exploring the world together. Both are box trained and don’t require special diets or treatments. I am moving and can not take them with me - looking for a new home who will love and enjoy them for years to come.

Story

Leo is a very sweet three year old indoor cat. He likes dogs and other cats but is extremely anxious around people. He wants chin and head scratches, especially at night, but does not like to be picked up. He was born to a feral cat mother. He and his sister were raised with an elderly cat and three foster kittens. Around the age of 8 months, he started acting scared of people. Leo is overweight and needs a conscientious adopter. He eats several meals a day if food remains in his bowl. He should join a family who can give him 1/2 cup per day, or the amount listed in his food instructions. With different age cats in the house, including a senior cat who needs to free-feed, it is difficult to measure Leo’s food intake. Leo will come with a pet carrier.

Serenity is the mother of five female kitties who are under a year old and all of them are pregnant. Serenity is about two to three years old and recently had five kittens. She is VERY sweet and friendly but she warms up slowly.. She's been a great mother, had many obstacles in her way but she found a way to keep her babies fed and safe even when there wasn't enough food for them all. Karma is the daughter of Serenity. they are very bonded to each other. They were living in a garage and all of her siblings and her mother got pregnant. Karma had three babies and one died. The boys will be adopted together as a bonded pair. Karma didn't have hardly any milk because they were not getting nutrition enough for the babies, we were able to save Serenity and get Karma's babies to another nursing mother, just to get them started on nursing, thank God. Vivica was a stray roaming the streets of Birmingham, but she's vocal and obviously was a house kitty before being put out on the streets. Now she's been rescued and vetted by a nice lady who says she's great in the house. Getting along with the other kitties and two dogs in the house. She's pleasant and will warm up in a calm home where there are calm views from the windows. So she'd be best in a HOUSE or condo facing woods or a pond. She might be okay in a home with a cat friendly dog or a male kitty who is super laid back. Or she'd be okay with a companion who's a calm adult human who is pretty settled in their home and life. Lavendar has had a difficult start in life, we got her when she was pregnant and she had beautiful kittens she loved so much. She was having a issue feeding them and we had to have a few surgeries on her because her teats were breaking open. We had to take her away from babies and it was heart breaking for everyone involved. She has mothered a few other litters since she was heeled. She loves to be petted for hours and is really ready for a home of her own. She's okay around small dogs, but really wants a family who will spoil her rotten. She's a pretty torbie with a pretty coat. Lavendar herself is friendly and sweet and she will be needing an indoor only home of her own.
