You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hi! I'm Bullet aka Bronx. I was adopted out as a kitten, but was returned recently because I was having a hard time adjusting to some new people in my home. I am a large boy weighing around 15 pounds! I LOVE scratches and being brushed. I also love to lounge in the cat tree or in the window. I do well with other cats, dogs, and kittens. I tend to stay away from dogs and prefer them to give me my space, but I cohabitate well. I have an enlarged heart with a heart murmur. As of now there is no ongoing treatment or therapy for this. My foster mom is just going to keep an eye on it. It doesn't impact my daily life or outlook at this time! I would love a forever home where I can lounge around, lay with you, play, and be loved. If you would like to meet me please fill out an application! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. April 11, 2025, 2:15 am

Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. &#226&#128&#139This is Sylvester. He is a strikingly handsome 8-week-old little dark grey kitten. He was rescued from a colony with his four other brothers and sister. Their mom took care of them the first 6 weeks of their lives, but we rescued them to keep them safe from outdoor living. I have been to the vet and was given a clean bill of health. Sylvester is friendly, playful and very affectionate and would bring joy to any household. Preference is to be adopted with one of his siblings or to a home that has at least one other kitty. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Mama (Wilma) is a sweet beautiful affection kitty cat.  She is almost 7 years old and weighs approximately 12 pounds.  She is a little skittish at first (startled by loud noises) but once she gets used to her situation and warms up to her family, she turns into a velcro cat.  She will want to sit on your lap (if sitting) or on your chest (if laying) all the time.  She will sleep with her human every night.  She loves having her head and chin scratched for as long as you are willing to scratch. That being said, Mama is very skittish.  She does not like loud noises and is not a big fan other cats, other than her son Cody.  I think it is important that they stay together for their comfort.  Once she warms  up to you, she is a lovely affection cat.  It will take someone with patience and understanding. Cody (Cootie) is a beautiful loving big ole’ gentle giant!  He is a 15 lb, 4 ½ year old big orange Tabby.  He has the loudest purrrrr I have ever heard.  He loves head scratches, belly scratches, butt scratches and laying on your lap or chest.  He likes to play with string and loves all of his little stuffed animal toys and wand toys.  That being said, Cody is very skittish.  He does not like loud noises and is not a big fan other cats, other than his momma.  I think it is important that they stay together for their comfort.  Once he warms  up to you, he is a lovely affection cat.  It will take someone with patience and understanding. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. What’s going on? I’m Kabuki! I am an adorably curious wiggle-butt who loves playing with toys and following you wherever you go! I just want to see what you are doing and if I can help! I love exploring and purr a lot when you show me attention. I was found in a wooded field all on my own, but I get along great with other cats. I love wrestling and cuddling with my best friend Kodama. I seem to have an allergy to chicken, so I primarily eat fish based meals. I’d love to join your family and play with my furry friends.
