Story
Mittens is 7 years old. She originally came to our family as a barn cat but she worked her way into our home. Unfortunately, we are allergic to her and can no longer keep her. She’s a sweet girl who loves being around everyone.

Story
Mila is a sweet cat, but likes attention on her terms. She will come sit by you on the couch or sleep with you in bed, but does not like being forced to cuddle. Rehoming due to our lack of time for her. Would do best with someone experienced with cats She is on prescription urinary tract food to help with stress/behavior urinary issues. Uses the Breeze litter system due to hygiene with her long hair. She is long haired, but doesn’t like being brushed. Vet has prescribed meds to relax her during grooming and stressful events. She was recently put in Prozac to help with anxiety and adjusted to our new baby and family visiting. She has been great with the baby, but is not a fan of all the company coming and going from our house and in her space. She does love to play, and is attached to a small stuffed animal she had had since she was a kitten. She has lived with other cats before but might do better as a single cat or to make sure they are introduced properly. Will provide any remaining supplies; litter pellets and pads, Prozac, treats and others as needed.****Mila is not at Upaws****If you interested in meeting Mila please contact:Person: Taylor Phone number: (906) 396-5032Email: jacobson.taylor@hotmail.com

Story
Meet Redford & OhNo — two 6-month-old brothers with brave little hearts and a beautiful rescue story. These bonded boys were rescued by a kind couple who didn’t want to see them grow up outside, unprotected in the elements. Because they relied on each other through those early, uncertain days, their bond is strong — and we would love to see them stay together.Redford and OhNo are still a bit unsure of people, but every day they relax a little more. Their playful sides are beginning to shine, and they’re showing more curiosity, more confidence, and more of their sweet personalities. In a patient, gentle home, these two will continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens who will grow, learn, and love side by side, Redford and OhNo might be your perfect match. Give these rescued brothers a chance — they’re ready for a safe, warm, forever home together.

Story
Sardine is a 6-month-old female kitten who came to UPAWS as a stray, so her early history is a bit of a mystery. What we do know is that she’s a bold little spirit who is still learning to trust new situations — and doing so at her own pace.Sardine is a little spicy, especially when things feel unfamiliar. She’s not one to rush into affection and appreciates being given space while she builds confidence. With patience, consistency, and calm handling, she has the potential to continue making great progress. This young lady would do best with someone who understands that not every kitten is immediately cuddly — and that some of the most meaningful bonds come from allowing trust to grow naturally.
