Story
*Goldie and Rod are a BONDED PAIR* *UNDERSOCIALZED - WILL REQUIRE SPECIAL ADOPTER* Goldie and her bro bro, Rod, were rescued from a Southfield yard as part of a litter, in the summer of 2021. Goldie and Rod have been been in a loving foster home learning how to trust humans. Their foster mom has done a wonderful job of helping them feel safe and loved. They love to snuggle up on the bed with their foster mom at night and lounge on the couch with her during the day. Goldie and Rod also love to watch tv - especially bird tv! With the consistent love and patience of their foster mama, they have blossomed into increasingly confident and social kitties. They LOVE LOVE LOVE sitting by the open window, feeling the breeze on their whiskers. Rod loves to chirp and chatter. Goldie enjoys stealing Q-tips from her foster mama's stash; she plucks one out, throws it around and comes back to pluck more. Goldie also enjoys batting a ball back and forth with her foster mama on her favorite ball tower toy. Goldie and Rod both go cuckoo for the squeeze treats and that has been one of the best ways to engage and build trust and adoration with them. They are searching for their FUREVER happy ending together and will be a great pair for a hooman that can provide devotion and patience for a couple of kitties that got a challenging start. Please apply to meet them today! Adoption fee: $250 for the pair. ##1167459##

Story
Madea was pregnant when she was rescued from a cat colony in Detroit. Once safely in foster, she gave birth to five beautiful kittens. Madea was closely bonded to her kitten, Iris, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. Madea loved to cuddle and play with Iris so she may do best in a home with another kitty friend to snuggle and play with. She loved to be near her foster mom and would follow her around the home, but she is still learning to trust people here at the Catfé. Madea will need a patient and understanding adopter that can help her learn how to trust again. Please apply or schedule a visit to the Catfé Lounge to meet her today! ##1365290##

Story
Rayanne is a shy older kitty who was found outside by Warren Animal Control in need of medical care. She is approximatly 8 years old. Rayanne underwent an invasive lifesaving surgery upon intake and her doctors didn't feel that it was safe for her to return outside. She was transfered to us in hopes of her finding a loving indoor home.  Rayanne spent much of her adult life in survival mode outdoors, so she is a bit leary of human contact. She is currently in a loving foster home learning how to trust humans.  Rayanne gets along well with other cats and would do best in a home with a confident and friendly cat sibling or two. She LOVES her wet food and will get very close to her foster mom around breakfast and dinnertime - eagerly awaiting her can of wet food.  Despite being leary of human contact, she is actually quite social and enjoys spending time near her foster mom. She sleeps on her foster moms bed and loves to be closeby throughout the day. Her foster mom loves to talk to her and Rayanne seems to enjoy it as well!  Rayanne will likely never be a confident lap cat, but she has great potential to blossom in the right environment. Rayanne is in need of a VERY special adopter! Her adoption fee is $150. Please apply to meet her today!  ##1115285##

Story
Meet Simone!  She is a beautiful, gray kitty who is one of the 53 cats that were removed from a hoarding situation in April 2023.  Simone is very sweet and has been gaining confidence in her current home at the Catfe. She enjoys trying new toys, however, her favorite one remains simply a ball. Either hard, fuzzy, or crunchy works, as long as it’s round! Her other favorites are springs and mice, and she enjoys the laser and wand toys. Her other favorite activity is looking out every open window in the house. She has been using a cardboard scratcher every day, she doesn’t scratch anything else. Simone has become more approachable and is getting in closer proximity to humans each day. It seems she likes to be around and involved by sitting nearby. She doesn’t meow at all, she just comes and stares at you and it’s your job to figure out what she wants! She uses the litter box properly and is very clean. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.  She would love a home that would give her some patience and love. She would do well with another friendly kitty in her age group since she often seems lonely and would enjoy another playmate. Due to her history and skittishness, we think she would do best in a quiet home without dogs or children.  Simone's adoption fee is $150. Please complete an application to meet her at the Ferndale Catfe! ##1689530##
