Story
Hello there! I`m Jolly, a young and vivacious feline with a zest for life. I`m always up for an adventure, my curiosity often leading me to new discoveries. I love playing with toys, especially ones that jingle and roll. My energy is contagious, I`ve been told. I`m also friendly, never missing an opportunity to show my affection. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends. I`m looking for a family who can match my playful spirit and endless energy. Adopting me means endless joy, laughter, and companionship. Will you be my forever playmate?

Story
My 4 year old cat name is Derry. I love her very much but due to moving and not allowed to have a pet unfortunately I have to give her up. Not asking for money or anything special just want her to be in a warm sweet and loving home. She’s always been a house cat until recently she now stays in my garage until I can get her adopted. She’s very loving and listen when told no and stop. She loves to snuggle and loves movies too. She recently had 2 kittens as well one that looks like her and one that’s grey with black strips they’re 3 months. I will give her or all 3 up long as it’s a loving family willing to accept her. She is shy at first but will warm up to you once familiar. I hope and pray that it is a family looking for a cat or cat and 2 kittens to adopt this would be very nice and a blessing. I love her very much but I know she deserves better. She use litter box and not a bad cat all. Please help me get her or her and kittens into a warm/loving home please.

Story
Aizza (ay-zuh; black) is a curious, but pretty laid back cat. Definitely the more active cat between the two. She LOVES new people, but is afraid of the outdoors (will go outside only to eat a little grass then wants right back in). VERY food motivated. She will gorge herself if you free feed. She absolutely loves play, but we just don’t have time or money to buy her toys :/ She definitely mischievous at times. She is the life of the party (literally, I swear, the more people, the better for her). Vera (vair-uh; gray) is the calm, sweet one. Typically always looking for cuddles. If you have floor vent and turn the heat on in the winter, she’ll cuddle right up to them. She will demand to be in your lap by giving clawless *baps* asking permission to lay on you. She is TERRIFIED of new people, but you get her outside? Oh lord she’s Queen of the kingdom. She’ll explore, but if your yard is fenced in she’s not likely to jump the fence (only happened once and she was terrified afterward).

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Mama (Wilma) is a sweet beautiful affection kitty cat.  She is almost 7 years old and weighs approximately 12 pounds.  She is a little skittish at first (startled by loud noises) but once she gets used to her situation and warms up to her family, she turns into a velcro cat.  She will want to sit on your lap (if sitting) or on your chest (if laying) all the time.  She will sleep with her human every night.  She loves having her head and chin scratched for as long as you are willing to scratch. That being said, Mama is very skittish.  She does not like loud noises and is not a big fan other cats, other than her son Cody.  I think it is important that they stay together for their comfort.  Once she warms  up to you, she is a lovely affection cat.  It will take someone with patience and understanding. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. November 4, 2024, 7:53 am

Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Cody (Cootie) is a beautiful loving big ole’ gentle giant!  He is a 15 lb, 4 ½ year old big orange Tabby.  He has the loudest purrrrr I have ever heard.  He loves head scratches, belly scratches, butt scratches and laying on your lap or chest.  He likes to play with string and loves all of his little stuffed animal toys and wand toys.  That being said, Cody is very skittish.  He does not like loud noises and is not a big fan other cats, other than his momma.  I think it is important that they stay together for their comfort.  Once he warms  up to you, he is a lovely affection cat.  It will take someone with patience and understanding.
