Story
Gus is a sweet and gentle cat who is looking for a loving forever home. For the past year, he spent his time living on our front porch, but recently, he returned injured, and we have been helping him recover. Gus is now fully healed and ready for the next chapter of his life. Though he’s a bit shy at first, Gus quickly warms up to those who give him the patience and love he deserves. He has shown that he absolutely loves being indoors, where he can bask in the comfort of a home, receive affection, and feel safe. Gus will need a home without dogs, as they do make him nervous. He’s ideal for a calm, loving household where he can gradually build trust and show his true, affectionate nature. Once Gus feels comfortable, he will be your most loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a sweet kitty Gus might be the perfect fit for you.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Babs (short for Baobab) is a lovely Blue-Point Siamese and was born in 6/2/2020. She is somewhat comfortable with him now and loves the foster Auntie. Babs will often jump up on the desk while foster dad is working on the computer. She will pace back and forth as he scratches her backside. For the most part she is quiet, but she can be a talker. She came from a somewhat chaotic background, so her hesitancy/shyness is understandable. She might be best as an only cat for someone who would give her the attention she needs and deserves. She has recently jumped up on the desk and began rubbing her face against foster dad’s face while noticeably purring. Babs must be adopted into a home that does not have children. If you have room in your home and heart for this beautiful girl, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Babs is $200. She is in a foster home in Novi Michigan.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information. MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets. Story
Callie is an absolute sweet heart. She enjoys cuddles with with both us humans and her "brother" Joey. Although she is shy at first once she warms up to you she loves the company of others. She loves to play as well as enjoy the food and treats given to her. She loves being coddled and given ear scratches. I unfortanately am allergic and need to find her and Joey a new home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Torchy is a beautiful, Flame Point Siamese girl. She is looking for a home with people who can handle her energy and playful spirit. She was born on May 26, 2025.  Torchy is full of energy. Her energy often exceeds others in their ability to deal with her. While she was here, she made friends with a male kitty that matched her energy level, but he has been adopted. She doesn't get into fights with the other cats, but they do not have her energy level. Torchy needs a kitty friend to play with, that is within 5 years of her age. Torchy must be adopted into a home that does not have children. If you have room in your home and heart for this beautiful girl, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Babs is $250. Story
This is my first time owning cats and turns out I am allergic to them. I have bonded with them and this makes things so much harder but they need a loving forever home. Joey is a sweet and loving old man. I am not sure exactly how old he but he acts like a kitten! He loves playing with my dog as well as toys, his laser beam, and loves stalking the birdies out the windows.

Story
Say hi to Trouble! Despite his name, Trouble is very well-behaved :) He is a very healthy four-year old grey tabby who likes to play, and will curl up at your feet all day long to keep you company. We got him at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I'm hoping to find an adopter who lives in a ground floor apartment, or in a house, because he is used to having a catio where he can watch the birds. I can give the adopter one of our catios to install. I'm looking for a new home for him because my son is heading off to college, and I'll be traveling a lot more, and I don't want to have to board him, or leave him for long periods with just a cat sitter coming in once a day. He's very sweet and likes hard head scritches. He can be co-adopted with his current feline housemate, Black Jack, or by himself. (They get along okay, but are not closely bonded.) Trouble would do best in a reasonably quiet home.
