Story
I've had Midnight since she was a kitten. It was her and her brother. Unfortunately, they was born in the shelter and he had PIV. He passed six months after I first got them. She has always been very skittish. Takes a while for her to open up. She does not like to be picked up. Midnight is a very vocal girl. She will meow for attention and to play or eat.She loves playing with anything on a fishing rod that has feathers nd strings. Lately, I've noticed she isn't playing with her toys as much. I think she wants a friend. She gets along with other cats. My friends brings her cats by for play dates sometimes. She has a lot of energy to be three. Midnight has asthma and takes an inhaler twice a day. Even though its been a year of me giving her medicine she gives me a hard time. I'm looking to rehome due to medical reasons. I was able to pay for her medical care and make sure her asthma was treated. Now that I have to deal with my issues I will be unable to care fore her.

Story
Grayson is looking for her forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Grayson has truly blossomed in his foster home and is ready to bring his joyful energy to a forever family! 🧡 This handsome boy has the perfect balance of playful and peaceful. He loves a good round of morning and pre-dinner zoomies, showing off his impressive “hunter” skills (he even caught a mouse like a pro!), but during the day he’s happy to lounge and recharge. At night, he settles in nicely and keeps himself entertained. Grayson is as sweet as he is playful. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and is always happy to soak up cuddles. While he can keep himself busy with toys and adventures, he never turns down love from his people. He has excellent litter box manners—even when adjusting to new litter. Occasionally he may kick out a little litter if it’s overfilled or accidentally bump into the box during a high-speed chase, but overall he’s very tidy and reliable. Grayson is friendly and not particularly shy with new people—he often gets extra playful when visitors stop by! He has done wonderfully with other cats and would likely thrive with a feline friend to wrestle and romp with. Dogs make him nervous, so a dog-free home (or one willing to move very slowly and patiently with introductions) would be ideal. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who will keep you smiling and fill your home with warmth, Grayson might just be your perfect match. 💛 ATTRIBUTES: Grayson has done well with other cats. —------------- Laila’s Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any cat is housebroken. Story
Tamarillo is looking for her forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Tamarillo (aka Rillo) — a tiny bundle of energy with an even bigger heart 💖 Rillo loves to play, play, play! She’s all about tossing her toys, chasing them (and her tail!), and keeping herself entertained with kitten-level enthusiasm. Don’t let that energy fool you though — when the day winds down, Rillo is more than happy to curl up beside you for nighttime cuddles and gentle pets. She’s a quick learner and settled into home life right away, using her litter box like a pro and asking for affection on her very first night. Rillo is a bit shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and she warms up fast, revealing just how sweet and loving she truly is. One thing you’ll notice right away? Rillo is very talkative! She loves to chat and will happily let you know when she wants attention, playtime, or cuddles. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitty who balances fun energy with cozy companionship, Rillo might just be your perfect match 🐾💬 ATTRIBUTES: —------------- Laila’s Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any cat is housebroken. Story
Katus is looking for his forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Katus is an approximately one-year-old male who came to the U.S. all the way from Kuwait, and he carries both beauty and depth in equal measure. With his incredibly striking markings—hinting at the slightest touch of Bengal—and his perpetual doe-eyed expression, Katus has a face you won’t soon forget. He is a shy, sensitive boy who takes his time adjusting to new people and surroundings. Katus is very much a cat person’s cat—the kind who doesn’t give his heart away easily. But once you earn his trust, it feels like winning the lottery. He shows his affection by gently bopping his head into your hand, asking for more pets, and he absolutely goes bananas for freeze-dried treats. Katus isn’t particularly playful just yet, but that’s likely because he needs time to feel safe and settled. Patience is key with this sweet boy, and the reward is a quiet, meaningful bond that grows deeper with time. He arrived from Kuwait alongside another cat, Lolo (also available for adoption). While they are friendly with one another, they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. Because of his timid nature, Katus would thrive in a calm, low-traffic, adult-only home with someone who truly understands that the best things in life—and in rescue—come to those who wait. If you’re the kind of person who values trust, quiet affection, and the joy of watching a shy cat slowly blossom, Katus may be your perfect match.
