Story
Hi, I’m Thorfinn, a ten-month-old male kitten (as of April 2023, but 5 mos when my pics were taken). I’m an equally snuggly and playful kitty, looking for my forever home. I love being active - whether that’s playtime with my foster kitty siblings (like my twin Sasappis) or my toys. I love toys of all kinds and can’t wait to show off my chasing and pouncing skills. After a hard day of play, there’s nothing I want more than to cuddle up with my people on the couch or in bed. I do well around other cats and dogs and am very people-oriented and social, making friends instantly. I’ll come to your home litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. If I sound like the purrfect addition to your home, email rockcityrescue@gmail.com with your name and phone number.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Luisa is an approximately 1-year-old (as of April 2023) cat who was rescued with her three litter mates snugly tucked in behind a flower box in an unsuspecting family's backyard.  She is short and stout with stunning tabby markings and some gorgeous big eyes!  She hasn’t been around dogs thus far in her life but I don’t think it would be an issue for her.  Not one not to pester a cat that doesn’t want to be bothered, but she adores her adult foster brother and is never far out of his shadow. She likes to be part of the action laying near her people and sleeping on the bed with them most nights but prefers pets on her terms.   I'm sure she would great companion for a lonely singular cat or a person who doesn’t try to push her too much with cuddling.  She comes to you litter box trained, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this gorgeous girl. Email the cat's name and phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Persimmon is approximately 1-year-old of April 2023 whose shiny coal-black coat really stands out in a crowd!  He is a sweet-tempered and sensitive type who was scared of his new surroundings at first but within the span of 2-3 weeks, he was all over the house and coming around his foster mom for attention and scratches by his tail.  Lately, he has with the cold weather he has become quite the snuggle bug wanting to lay on his person's lap with his favorite foster sister almost every time she sits down.  He hasn’t been around dogs very much but I believe with a proper introduction of a friendly dog and lots of patience, it should not be a problem.  In addition, he gets along well with other cats both young and adults.  He would certainly enjoy a similar-aged or friendly adult cat to tussle with as he enjoys spirited playtime with his foster siblings, but he also plays independently quite well.  He comes to you litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this dashing young man!August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Twyla is a very smart, loving cat. She likes to sit in your lap and cuddle. She prefers to sleep on my bed with me but unfortunately I am a light sleeper. She likes attention and enjoys play time with her owner. She resides with my daughter and I and is used to being in a quiet environment. Although she is a wonderful loving cat she does have some behavioral issues. She scratches and cleans excessively. She is a very clean cat. I do think her behavioral issuescome from boredom. She spends long days at home alone. I work multiple jobs therefore I'm not home. I unfortunately do not have alot of time to spend with Twyla. Twyla has been an indoor cat for last 5 years. She does go out on our deck to watch birds. I think she would be happy going outdoors and living with other animals if they are the right personality. Twyla is used to living with adults and did not grow up around children. Twyla was recently diagnosed with a thyroid condition and takes 1 pill per day in the morning wet

Story
Louise is a sweet cat; she purrs easily, likes affection, will sleep next to your legs. She eats dry food with a small soft food treat once a day. She's talkative and is ready to play when you are. She's litter box trained very well and has never vomited. She DOES NOT get along with other cats. We adopted her three months ago but unfortunately she's still aggressive toward our cat (we've tried literally everything). I would love to keep her but we're not the right home for her.

Story
Jack Frost was adopted as a kitten on Halloween 2011 during a snow storm- hence the name:) So will be 14 years old in July/August I believe. He is a calm , low key cat in great health! He def naps a lot but still runs around and is somewhat active. He loves to find a lap or a spot beside you for pats and chin scratches! He’s a very sweet boy! We are looking to rehome him, as life has become too busy, as we have a little boy with special needs. Jack deserves a home with humans that can spend time with him! Please help us make Jacks next chapter to be filled with love and belly rubs!
