Story
Phoebe is a very friendly little kitty but she needs some time to adjust because she has not been in captivity. She will need someone that knows how to contain a kitten for a couple of weeks until she learns how to use her litter box, and etc. but I believe she will be a very good cat just given a chance we will pay for her first shots and spay.

Take a chance on Linguini! -adoption fee is $75. Will cover neuter, rabies, fvrcp vaccine, microchip, deworming, and flea prevention. https://www.blackcatanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications

Story
Meet Jack and Jill! This 4.5 month old former stray brother/sister pair are the perfect combo of high energy and mellow personalities! Jill is a mostly white calico girl with very unique markings: she has a double red stripe over her left eye, and a little black “heart” on the inside of her right front wrist. Jill is fearless, energetic, and playful, with an insatiable curiosity about everything. She’s vocal in her demands for attention, never stops purring, and enjoys playing with humans and her dog and cat foster siblings. Jack is a BIG male gray tabby kitten (almost twice the size of his littermate sister), with a calmer, more reserved personality. He’s initially more cautious of new situations and people, but once he trusts you and comes out of his shell, he is playful, and has a sweet and endearing personality. Jack is much more confident around Jill , and follows her lead. For this reason they will need to be adopted as a bonded pair. BOGO adoption fee! Both kittens have been fostered and are good with bigger dogs and cats. (They do enjoy roughhousing with the dogs and playfully chomping their paws and ears and pouncing on tails, so any future dog siblings need to be tolerant of such kitten shenanigans!). Scoop these babies up! 😻😻 $75 adoption fee covers their spay & neuter, vaccines, microchip, deworming, current on Revolution, and dewormed 3’x , FIV/FELV tested-negative. https://www.blackcatanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications

Story
Meet Void ! Void was born into a feral colony on a mountain in July 2024. Last month he found his way inside of my house during a large storm. He’s perfect! Void is loving , affectionate , playful and entertaining in those quirky boy- kitten ways . He has lived with cats and dogs and does just fine ( he is a bit leery of dogs but warms up quickly if they are safe .) he is happiest cuddling with you. He’s fully vetted and current on a flea and tick preventative ( Revolution.) Void is a ham ! He loves the spotlight and is a burst of joy on sad days . You’ll never be lonely and he will bring you plenty of smiles . Helping Void means we can keep saving other mountain kitties . So c’mon , open your heart to a shadowy sweetheart and stare into the void ? You won’t regret it . * void’s adoption fee is a $20 donation to the Madison County spay/neuter program for ferals or a $20 to Black Cat Rescue . A screenshot should work as proof of donation :)

Story
Danny was trapped as a feral a few years ago but could not be returned to the area. Because of that he became one of our sanctuary cats! Over the past few months though, Danny has been expressing wanting attention and petting. We are thrilled! He will roll over on his belly to be pet and is the first one to greet us in the morning. While his potential adopter will still need to move slow and be patient with him, we have high hopes he will make someone a very nice lap cat in the future! Danny is a striking black cat, our favorite. 😉 And is about 3-4 years old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines,&Microchipped. He lives with other cats and could adjust to calm dogs in the future. Kids over 12 years are best. Danny’s adoption fee is $50! https://www.blackcatanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications
