We are an all volunteer organization and are busy caring for our foster animals so we cannot respond to emails that ask questions already addressed ** Adoption Process: Step 1: Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2: PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3: IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4: If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit. Meet the dynamic duo of Ordie and Izzie! Due to a severe eye infection as a tiny kitten, Ordie has had one eye removed and has extreme limited vision in his remaining eye. Izzie has been Ordie’s companion since they were 2 months old. Ordie doesn’t let his vision limitation hold him back. He’s comfortable getting around and loves to wrestle with his foster siblings. Izzie is a mild mannered until it comes to food! She is a pure foodie at heart!! She loves to see what you’re eating and check to see if it’s something she might like to try. While Ordie isn’t a big snuggler, Izzie hasn’t met a lap she didn’t like! Both cats have been around older cats and dogs. Because of his slight vision, Ordie doesn’t really understand personal space, so he tends to get into the older cats’s faces, which they don’t appreciate. We are only adopting this pair together so that Izzie can help Ordie with any transitions. Ordie & Izzie are approximately a year old, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption donation is $100 + tax October 12, 2024, 12:11 pm

Taylor was hit by a car as a very young kitten and lost his leg, but he doesn’t let that hold him back! He runs, jumps, climbs and plays like any other cat, and even uses his missing leg to his advantage as he skids around corners. Taylor is great with dogs of all sizes. He is extremely friendly with people He’d love to have another playful cat (one who enjoys a bit of pouncing and rough and tumble play) in his forever home *Taylor is neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, vaccinated and micro chipped. * Male - 4 years old * The amputation does not cause him to have any special needs * He has been diagnosed with crystals in his urine and needs to be on prescription food for the rest of his life (Purina UR). I am a beautiful solid black kitten with shiny fur. I just can’t resist toys. I am the smallest of my siblings (sister Lexus and brother Bentley), but I growl at them to protect my toys. I’ve never given up a toy, even to my brother Bentley who is much bigger than I am. Favorite toys for me and my siblings are springs and red straws. We love sunny spots to nap and anything that is an adventure. I am the sweetest of the family and a big bird hunter in our bay window. My solid gray coat is just gorgeous. I select the toy/s I want from the kitty toy box. Foster mom says now if she could just teach me how to put them back in their box! My Olympic feat is my jumping ability. I can jump very high to almost 4 feet straight up! Our antics (both sister Mercedes and brother Bentley) include helping foster dad dust mop the floor, learning about human things like ceiling fans, TV, and none of us are allowed on the kitchen table (we aren’t sure why we can’t get up there, but foster mom tells us this word called NO?). I am a very curious tiger tabby kitten and can’t resist an open box. All of us in the family (including sisters Lexus and Mercedes) love to cuddle and are very affectionate with each other and people, too. We have fallen at least once (some twice) in the bathtub while foster mom is in the tub with WATER (we sure don’t like getting wet). Also, two of us have fallen in the TOILET but we are too embarrassed to tell you our names. Much of our day involves eating, sleeping in the sun, mostly hanging together, lots and lots of play, and following our foster mom. Did you see the my picture with a big, tabby cat? He lives with my foster family and we are buddies. Be sure to look at the picture of my head that shows my gorgeous tabby stripes!
