Hi my name is Spook. I’m a 1 year old coming 2 year old fixed male cat. I’m large(15 lbs of fluff). I am super cuddly, sweet, and kind. I love people, kids, other pets although probably best to not have me around fish or small animals like ferrets, or rodents like guinea pigs. I am up to date on all of my shots and I am neutered. I am only looking for a new home because my mom and dad’s living situation changed and unfortunately I would be happier with more consistency right now. If you ever cannot keep me though and my mom and dad are able too, I would like to go back to them. Plus they would like constant updates and photos of me wherever possible.

Story

We love our Sammy boy, however we are looking for a new home for him that does not have any other cats. Sammy is such a sweet boy, he keeps to himself mostly, he loves to take long naps on a cozy blanket and loves to look outside. He will often sit beside our chairs in the evening and look up, just waiting to be asked to jump on our lap for some pets. He is great with people and even small children. Sammy is declawed on his front paws, and must remain as an indoor cat. He is not used to the outdoor elements, and is not able to defend himself without front claws. We have had Sammy since May 2022 when we rescued him and he has been a great, very easy going cat, however in just the last few months he has taken a strong dislike to our oldest cat. It has gotten to a point where we feel it would be best for Sammy to go to a home where he is the only cat. Sammy just wants to be loved, however struggles with how to share that attention with other cats.

Lots of handling, playing with hands, and excessive petting can cause them to overstimulate, which can result in scratching and/or biting.
