Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tora is a "Sweetie Pie". She is hesitant & cautious at first but then with time & patience warms up to you.  She is more comfortable with women, but warmed up to her foster dad with time. Tora's favorite activity is to have her ears, head, neck and chest noogied, but she can be sensitive about petting her back.  She also really loves a good windowsill & a room with a view! Tora was also a good mother to her kittens when she first came in, very caring.  Her foster parents really think she will be a wonderful forever pet for someone now that she is done being a mom, and has been spayed - so no more mothering duties to worry about, just living her best life now waiting to be adopted! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 5:43 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Little Miss, only girl with 4 boy siblings. She can hold her own.  She looks like fudge, swirl ice cream. Beautiful paint brush markings on her belly and legs. She bears a little goatee and a vibrant orange streak on her forehead. Her front right paw and her back left paw are cream colored and move in syncopation. Big inquisitive, round eyes. She always looks surprised.  Relates through play and is always good for another round with a feathered cat dancer. Shy and reserved, but with a little love and patience will blossom into a devoted forever companion. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Today: Pearl was originally know as Tiny Tot when she first came to Safe Haven. She found her way back when her owner passed. She is now a 16 year young senior cat who is looking for her perfect retirement home. She still gets around well and would prefer a sunny window to spend her days sleeping in.    Original Profile on Pearl from 2009: Tiny is a wonderful, loving, talkitive little girl.  She wants more then to have all the attention she can get.  Tiny would be best as the only cat in a home.  Click here to watch a video of Pearl (fka Tiny Tot).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2025, 9:47 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lottie (along with her mom and sister) was discovered in a cat carrier that had been thrown in a ditch when she was a day or two old. It was noticed that her back legs seemed frozen and it was unclear how she had been injured. Once Lottie was eating solid food, an x-ray was scheduled. These x-rays did reveal an injury that had healed. No further improvement was expected for Lottie. One thing Dr. Roland (Safe Haven's volunteer vet) needed to determine a plan for Lottie's future was to find out if Lottie had control of her bowels and bladder, so she took over fostering her. Since Lottie had been seen playing in the litterbox at her first foster home, Dr. Roland set up a dog crate with a litterbox, food and water. She noticed that Lottie was using the litterbox when she was in the crate but did not go back to the litter box when she was out playing. So, Dr. Roland ordered some tiny kitten diapers and onesies for playtime. Dr. Roland did notice that Lottie would twitch her tail rapidly when she needed to poop, and she also twitches her legs and clenches her toes, which indicates that the nerves to her legs are damaged but not severed. It has been noticed that Lottie is not using her litter box 100% of the time. Her ideal home would be with someone who has extra time for the care Lottie requires, like diaper changes, baths, and laundry. She will repay you with lots of purrs and snuggles. She is such a happy-go-lucky girl!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 5, 2025, 9:50 pm
